"Who fah car park up inna yuh yard?" Kyle asks, extending his head out the driver's side windows to inspect the vehicle.
I groan externally, releasing the deep sigh I'd been holding in once we reached my gate.

Crawsis love find me.
"A Dre own" I tell him, my eyes flicker over to his back windows, scanning to see if he's in the car.
No sight of him.
"Jessica probably let him in, cause bay light on in a di house" I added, motioning to the living room area.
Andre had parked behind me, blocking my car from exiting the yard, and cutting off any means of escape I could plan.
Fucka.
"Yuh good? Wah me come in wid yuh?" Kyle questions, his brows furrowed together as searched my face for an answer.
My God, what a piece a bangarang.
My heart skipped a beat, I knew Andre was watching from somewhere inside the house, I could just feel his eyes burning through.
Kyle gently pulls my face into the palm of his hands, "Are you okay Camille? Yuh fraid a him or sumn?" he asks, sincerity dripping from his lips.
"No—" my response is immediate, and I pull back from him shaking my head definitively.
"Anuh dat Kyle, we're good...swear" I affirm, "We've just been arguing this whole week and I didn't expect to see him this soon, especially not tonight," I say, my words sound jumbled together as I quickly string them into one full sentence.
I glance back over at the house, catching a glimpse of peeping eyes through the front blinds.
Massa God.
Kyle goes silent, scratching at the back of his neck as he throws his head back on the seat, deep in thought.
A cold chill runs over my body as I watch him think through my last words, and I can hear the wheels turning in his head.
This wasn't a new experience, I'd known Kyle as long as I'd known Ivy and sometimes it felt like I knew him as well as I did her.
Sometimes the waters would get a little muddy...
