Arlene's party had been taking on more and more difficult quests as my level rose. It had only been two weeks since I'd arrived in this fantasy world and my level was already twenty-five. Arlene's own level being forty. I had been staying in the guild dormitory and slowly gotten to know some of the other guild members. Arlene's party seemed to be one of the only active parties in the guild at the moment. Although apparently the guild had once been home to another hero and back then it had been full of strong parties, or so the rumours said any way.

I was now able to summon a small army of undead. That included undead knights and even a basic Lich.

I hadn't heard from Sara unless I called upon her. The sage wasn't much for conversation which bored me. Arlene and Renei were the most social with me, other than a wood worker that I'd commissioned to make me a guitar. It wouldn't be electric like my old one but I'd still be able to jam out. Guitars didn't exist in this world of course. The closest they have that exists in this world was lutes. I certainly didn't wish to jam out on a lute. I figured that I could enhance the newly made guitar with my magic.

I was eating dinner with the party when the wood worker arrived with the parts I'd instructed him to make. They eyed me as I quickly dashed off to put the parts together with the strings I'd already made.

I walked to a forest by the village with the completed object to test it out. I ran music from my fingers into the makeshift guitar and strummed lightly on the strings. The ground under my feet shook as the guitar lifted into the air above me and began to morph. The top shaped itself like a skull and the bass morphed to look like an electric guitar. Even the stings morphed to silver, as if I was a powerful alchemist.

The instrument floated gently back into my hands. It looked like a cross between a deadly weapon and an extremely punk guitar.

"If you name it, it'll be classed as an item and gain stats based on whatever your knowledge is of what this is and how it works" Sara explained.

"That makes sense" I replied. Then I decided to attempt something new with Sara. "Can I summon you Sara?" I asked her.

"Of course, you did tame me after all" she told me and I smiled.

"Summon Sage Guide Sara" I announced initiating the spell for summoning. A white light glowed in front of me and then Sara took began to take a physical form. She appeared how my head had imagined how she would look. She was as tall as an Amazonian, yet had no muscle like they would. Her long brunette hair was straight and looked brushed. She was wearing a toga like I imagined a great philosopher from history would wear.

"Hello master" she greeted me and then once again I felt the pain I'd felt when I'd named her. I looked at my HP and it was down to the low double digits. "Sage guide Sara has evolved into Great Sage" Sara announced and then realised she had announced that out loud. Her hand went up to her mouth. "Oh that was strange" she announced, her tone no longer sounding robotic at all but soft and sweet instead. It appeared that she had gained a mind of her own upon gaining a physical form.

I looked at her details in my own stats, "Sara, a wise sage gifted to the hero Belle. While having limited attacks her abilities are able to evolve to match any scenario. Sara is deeply committed to pleasing her master" I read out loud. I then began to read her abilities "Teleportation, barrier, healing and minor resurrection". I couldn't help but note that she had no actual attack magic.

I didn't say anything more. I took a health potion out of my inventory and restored my health. Then I picked up my guitar and began to think of names. Sara sat cross legged on the ground. She must be at least seven feet and a half tall and looked like a normal human standing.

"I name you Death's Liberty" I stated holding the guitar. It glowed eerily and then stopped. It's level went up like crazy which would have made my own HP drop dangerously, except that it didn't because my level was raising rapidly as well. When it was done I looked at its stats. "Level sixty guitar, for specific use by heroes only. Can be used for music or deadly attacks. Has high critical chance percent" I then looked at my own level. I'd gone from twenty-five to thirty-seven.

"Can you play for me?" Sara asked me. I looked at the guitar. It felt powerful in my hands. I didn't even need to warm up as I started to jam out. This guitar was truly an amazing instrument. When I'd finished I turned around to see Arlene and the party watching me play. Somehow the song had drawn them here. Which kind of made sense as I'd been picturing my time with them over the last two weeks as I had been playing.

"Is that some kind of legendary lute?" Renei asked me. I hadn't even noticed her there with the others.

"Not exactly" I told her feeling as very much as though I was currently on the spot.

"It's a guitar that only Belle can use" Sara told the group before me. She stood up and her great height seemed to make the party and Renei take a step back.

"This is Sara, she's a good friend of mine" I said, suddenly realising that I need to make something up. Sara stepped up beside me and wrapped her arm around my own.

"Very good friends" she said making it look like we were a couple.
