Six months had passed since Ember's attack.

And each fairy in Valeria was just getting to the point where their lives at changed forever since that one night of casualty.

Every single fairy and elf that lived around Valeria was fixing the holes they had lost since that terrible grief and also what they discovered new, and finding a way to deal with it.

No one had ever imagined the powers of the fairies and elves would ever return to them for very long years. So, to discover the things they need and learn how to control each power they have within themselves each fairy and elf in Valeria has a role to play.

Far away from the turmoil and crowd, April and Livian were looking through some ancient books and notes, in the secret and quiet parts of the library, hoping to come across something that could help the elves and fairies learn to use their powers quicker and safer.

They split the piles of books, what they have so far, in half so it would take less time to sort the piling of books that seemed to be getting higher by the minute.

They were still a lot to get through, more than they could ever thought possible.

April and Livian had book duty because they were the only ones who had time to spare.

Each morning they would go down to the library to read book after book about different powers the elves and fairies might possess and help Catherine to help the citizens of Valeria with controlling those powers, Dairon and Tanya tagged along after their own training.

They were no training that morning because Catherine, and the other Elders, were spending the days with the elves and fairies who now have their powers.

Tanya was almost always at her job with the Seekers and Dairon was working on Valeria's defence strategies with the King's Guard.

They all had a role in this and they all had to play their part.

April can't go to work for a couple of days as Aaron goes to help the rest of the Elders.

April and Livian continued with the books and placed every book they had gathered into their piles. They removed things that they knew or found unnecessary for the research.

They made sure to check out the primary elements, earth, water, air, and fire and the others that combined into them such as light, sun, trees, and ice.

They're been looking through the books for hours.

And not once could they find a way to pronounce any feedback to help the Elders.

April was getting tired after reading all day. "Ugh, I can't do this anymore, my eyes are burning and my head hurts. This has no end."

Livian sat upright and stretched out his hands. "Tell me about it. What a mess..."

"How much left is there to do?"

"Well, let's say we're about halfway to the end." Livan removed all the books and notes from the table and sat next to her.

April then laid her chin down on her crossed arms and closed her eyes. "Oh, I can't take this. It's gonna take us forever. You know I have to meet Tanya in an hour for my flying lesson."

"I know, and I'm not gonna lie and tell you I'm happy about that."

"Come on, you need this as much as I do."

"I'm not discussing this anymore."

Tanya, Dairon, Livian and April gathered on the balcony to practice their flying skills.
