When they arrived in Valeria, it had already been dark. Regardless of that, they immediately hurried to meet with Catherine and Aaron so they could tell them what happened in Librium.
"So, as you can see, the mission was pointless," Tanya said to Catherine.
"I think the trip you took was more than successful. Because, for one thing, Dairon got his wings, and for the other, you found the flag with the emblem of Narindel." Catherine explained.
"Narindel? Isn't that the kingdom by the great waterfalls?"
"That's right and that's great news. That means that the elves from Narindel had also been in Librium since after the battle between Ember and Ariana and it's a possibility that they have found the missing piece of the sceptre."
"Before you go back out on the trip I need to check on Tanya's injury but I already know that she would need a couple of days to recover. The rest of you should rest and prepare as much as you can for the journey ahead." Aaron explained.
"Also, April, Livan and I can check the rest of the books, and Dairon should use the time for some flying lessons," Catherine said.
Since they all were tired from the previous trip, Catherine didn't want to keep them long so she soon let them go to get some rest.
After a good night's rest, April spent most of the day reading ancient books with Livian. However, certain thoughts went running through her head, so she decided to share them with Catherine.
She was heading towards the balcony, hoping to find Catherine there but noticed that Tanya was leaving the balcony at that moment and wondered if she had seen her.
"Hey, what are you doing here?" Tanya asked April.
"I was hoping to find Catherine on the balcony."
"She's not there. I was just there with Dairon for his flying lesson."
"How did it go?"
"He's quite good. Quite optimistic now that he got his wings."
"That's good. But I thought Aaron said you should get some rest."
"He said I should take it easy, which flying isn't much more than just gliding."
"Right. Do you have any idea where Catherine might be?"
"Actually I do. But before that, I have to tell you something."
"What's wrong?"
"Well, since you just mentioned Catherine I remembered something, have you noticed anything going on with Aaron and Catherine?"
"Now that you've mentioned it, I had noticed something going on there, but..."
"I've seen it too, and then if we're both right, that surely has to be something. I think they need a little help... A slight push. Should we help them get together?"
"I think we should stay out of it. That's between them only. I don't really feel comfortable meddling in other people's business."
"It's all gonna be fine. Just leave everything to me. It'll be great, you'll see. I better go and get prepared for the trip to Narindel."
"Hey, wait, you said you know where Catherine is."
"Oh, yeah. Go down this corridor then turn to your left, you will see a spiral staircase until you arrive at the bottom floor. You would see her there."
"Thanks."
"April found Catherine very easily, although she had never been to that part of the castle before."
