Catherine and Aaron returned to Valeria, in the next to days, just after it hit noon.

The elves and fairies who were at the square around the time were rushing to Catherine and welcomed her arrival.

Tanya rushed towards Catherine and gave her a hug. "Mom! You're home."

Catherine was surprised, it was the first time she had ever heard Tanya call her "mom" in public.

They heard the citizens gossiping and were trying to make sense what had just encountered but they didn't mind any of it. They was reunited.

Livian, Dairon and April arrived in the square to welcome back Catherine.

April felt a little nervous, though they had resolved their despute over letters, this was the first time she was comfronted by her since the day the sceptre affected her, and she still remembered that she had told no one about its power.

"Catherine, I want to apologise for..."

"No, please don't... There's no need for that. Both of us made mistakes in the past, I think we should leave them where they belong and focus on the future instead."

"I told you everything was gonna be okay."

"Now that we all gathered and greeted each other, I think it's time we got down to business"

They all headed to the balcony, away from the curious looks of the elves and fairies who were surrounding Catherine.

"Catherine and I settled on decoding the text, as soon as we received the letter. But I was wondering something else, April, could you show us the original scroll?"

"Yes, but, it's in my room. I'll be back with it."

April dashed away from the balcony, down some deep steps to the chambers of the castle, and went to her room grabbed the scroll and headed back out with out stopping her pace.

She return to the balcony within a few minutes.

"Here it is. But you're going to need fire to read it." She said, while passing the scroll into Aaron hands.

"I'm on it." Dairon lit a candle, which was on one of the decoration tables, and everybody travelled around the table.

Catherine looked at the symbols, which was on the scroll by the fire light. "As I thought. Ariana's handwriting."

"Of course, it makes sense. Just like Catherine, Ariana was one of the Elders of Valeria. Knowing that, it's only logical that she had access to all the books and letters." Livian explained.

Dairon was confused. "So what? I don't understand."

"She had access to more then just ordinary books, but, also, the legendary, secret books. She must have found something about the sceptre, medallion and sword, also found the scroll and put a secret message on the back of that." Livian explained again.

"Ariana found something about the secret of the artefacts. Why didn't she share the information with anyone else?" Tanya asked.

"I guess there is no way to find that information out now. Ariana only knew that, and now statement isn't very concrete." Dairon said.

"Listen, I tried to translate the symbols but it is still unclear of its meaning." Catherine said.

April felt a little tense.

Would she know the truth about the sceptre?

She thinks she does, but she wonders if anybody would believe what she will them.
