Live Or Die

It was dark but a swinging light provided enough light to see the victim, Nicole Brodie, coming round while strapped to a chair. She had a bruise and a cut on her forehead, once she got her bearings, she looked around while screaming for help; "Help me! Help." She said as a television at the left side of her switched on gaining her attention. 

It was the Killer Queen; "Hello Nicole, I know that you are wondering why you are here, let's see now. Money laundering, cheating, blackmail, and oh yeah, self absorbent. For someone like you, you are a manipulative bitch. All crimes (including backstabbing) you have committed just to get your way, and the partner you once claimed to care about but cheated on him because of your own selfish ways. Now as your judgement day arrives, you find yourself questioning your past actions and how you should escape from this hell, but only one thing can save you. Admit your guilt and you will be set free, if not you rot." The Killer explained as she wriggled to get out of the chair. "I want what's mine! It wasn't planned. I will escape, and when I do then I will be coming after you, you bastard." Nicole shouted back as she escaped but soon faced another dilemma as the screen faded out before going onto the next victim.

The second victim awakes strapped to a table with a sword above her facing downward. She finds a tape player at the right side of her and presses play to listen to the recording; "Hello Detective Brooke Shaw, you are here because of your constant harassment of an innocent woman who did nothing to you, and had nothing to do with your sister's death. Yet, you claim to be innocent yourself, but I ask you Detective, where were you when your sister needed you most? You let yourself be driven by hatred and blamed the wrong woman for your sister's death. Now, as you come to terms with your madness, only one salvation must save you for your judgement day has now arrived." Explained the Killer Queen to the Detective who was trying to escape.

"No I won't apologise. She deserved what she got, and I won't admit to anything you sick fuck." Brooke replied as the Killer Queen left her with one final message. "Should you escape, the answer to your sister's killer will be waiting for you. Good luck, Detective." Then the tape recorder ended as she threw it away and managed to get free, she gets off the table and jumps down only to step into pieces of shards of glass on the floor. "I'm fucking gonna kill that bastard!" Brooke stated as she slid down to pick the glass out of her feet, but one piece of the broken glass was embedded in her foot. However, she ignored it and she got up, she walked around the room with the glass still embedded in her left foot.

She comes to a second table with files on it, she opens the file on her sister which revealed that she was an FBI informant, and they were investigating a blonde woman and a brunette man - they were both the same height, and their faces were burned out (possibly by the Killer Queen). "No it can't be!" She said to herself as she realised that her sister was not a drug addict, but an informant for the FBI.

The Detective had a breakdown as she realised that her sister had lied to her, but she still blamed Lou Caplan for the death of her sister. The screen fades out as it enters into a cold dark basement as the two men wake up; "What's going on?" Said the first man, as the second man found a light switch and turned on the light. "Alex?" Said Tyler who had turned he light on in the basement.

"Tyler, what are you doing here?" Replied Alex to him, Tyler looked at him. "No idea. I was closing up, when the power went out and the next thing I knew, I was waking up here with you. You sick bastard!" Tyler went to go for him but was stopped as he was chained to the piper in the basement, whereas Alex was chained up like a dog. Just then the telly switches on and a ventriloquist dummy appears on the screen - the female dummy has scars on her face sewn together in the shape of an "S", with dark red eyes and jet black hair. The dummy's smile is identical to that of Satan - an evil smile that gives you the chills and will haunt your dreams and waking life - the dummy's name, Sandy.

"Hello gentlemen, you are here because jealousy and betrayal has brought you here. One of you is a liar and the other is a cheater, how many more must be the ones that pay for your sins?" Said the Killer Queen through Sandy as the two men looked at each other with horror on their faces; "It's the Killer Queen, they've kidnapped us and trapped us here." Said Alex as Tyler looked at him.

"Who's the killer Queen?" Tyler replied to him in question. "No idea. My dad told me about the Killer Queen, that they target those who have done wrong in the past and puts them in their own traps to make them choose between life and death." Alex explained as Tyler swallowed harder than before with horror and fear displaying in his eyes and face. "You see Tyler, the Killer Queen targets anyone from rapists to child killers, from criminals to corrupted cops. This Killer has no distinction as they will go after anyone they want, and no one can stop them." Continued Alex to Tyler who was now scared to the core about the Killer Queen.

Tyler then finds a tape recorder and an envelope with a tape inside it and he presses play. The Killer's voice is heard though it is deepened; "Hello Tyler, now what did you see in her, eh? A woman who obviously did not care about you at all. Now you sit here with the very man who shagged your partner while his wife suffered from cancer. I bet that your rage is boiling to the point that you want to take revenge on him, but in order to clear your conscious, you must first admit to your own sins and accept salvation once again. If not then damnation is waiting for you in hell. Make your choice." The tape finished as Tyler looked at Alex with fury in his eyes, Alex saw this but tried to apologise to Tyler; "I said I was sorry."

"That's not good enough, she was mine partner and you slept with her." Tyler responded as his anger clouded his better judgement, but he mixed up his words, referring to Nicole as "Mine" and as "My". He threw the tape recorder at Alex who caught it but had understood Tyler's rage. He then found a tape in his back pocket, and then inserted it into the recorder.

He pressed play on the recorder to hear his message; "Alex, well, well, well. Been a while hasn't it? For your salvation, you must admit your guilt and reveal the full extent / truth to the man who obviously didn't like you. Think of it, as his closure on the affair, and your path to salvation. Should you do this, you will be released and your wife and daughter will go free." The Killer explained to Alex who swallowed hard as the tape ended.

"But the Killer said that either salvation or damnation is waiting for us, no matter what we choose to do." Tyler responded having realised what the Killer Queen was talking about with salvation and damnation.
