Notes: I know it's not Christmas, but I wanted to use this song as it represents a new starting and wonderful new adventures no matter the celebrations.
Now, on to the story.
Three months later
It had been three months since the team had discovered that Danielle and Tommy had killed a woman - who was later revealed to have been following them - however, the pair didn't take to this and often vented their frustration with one another until they realized that they could take out their pent up frustrations on Marcia Shaw - an FBI informant and their stalker.
Marcia's body had been discovered at the abandoned warehouse where Danielle and Tommy had murdered the woman, Brennan and Booth had attended the warehouse as well as the rest of the group, Brennan's abilities kick in as she sees everything from Marcia's point of view. The coroner had confirmed that Marcia was tortured, beaten and poisoned, the coroner also discovered that Marcia had been sexually assaulted but he was murdered by an unseen person by snapping the coroner's neck.
The person had then proceeded to delete the information and wiped Marcia's medical records, before leaving the building via a back exit, the coroner was discovered the following morning and an investigation was done as our Detectives figured that either the Killer Queen had committed the murder or it was someone else entirely. Their view on who had committed the murder had changed when it was revealed that Marcia's medical records were deleted and so, preventing the truth from coming out.
Now fast forward, and Barbara is due to give birth as is Helen, it had been a long night for Barbara as she had been cramping very badly. Winston kept an eye on his mother as he was worried for her and his unborn sibling, a few hours into the afternoon, Barbara's waters break and she calls Winston who rushes to her aid. The contractions were fast and painful as Barbara breathed through them while crying as she didn't want to go through it without Tommy, however, before Winston has a chance to call the ambulance as he saw the head crowning and he dropped the phone.
"Ok. Mum, you need to push as the head is already crowning." He said to her as she nodded then Winston came up with an idea and he grabbed a candle and lit it before returning to his mother. "Mum, I want you to stare into this candle. Stare so hard that you can see dad and the smile that he has on his face as you give birth to yours and his child." Barbara looked into the candle and imagined Tommy smiling at her giving her both strength and comfort as she breathed before pushing once more.
Newborn cries are heard as Winston grabs the towel after delivering his sibling into the world, he cleans up the baby as his mum watches on; "Is the baby ok?" She asks him as he looks up smiling with pride and beaming like a big brother would upon meeting his younger sibling. "She's doing just fine mum." He replied as she giggled to herself, and then he handed his new sister to their mum.
Barbara takes her baby daughter into her arms and smiles with love and pride, she decides to name her daughter, Raven Elizabeth Lynley, the name that Tommy loved the most and she feeds her daughter as Winston kisses her temple and also kisses his baby sister. Winston decides to take care of the household chores to help his mum out as she rests, he even agrees to watch his new sister as his mum decides to take a bath and get herself cleaned up. Barbara smiles as watches Winston with his sister and she's happy to have her son in her life as she now faces the challenges of being a single parent with a responsible grown up who will do anything to help her as she raises his little sister with his help.
A couple of days later, Helen goes into labour and has to give birth via an emergency C-section because the cord is wrapped around the baby's neck and plus there is a low placenta which is preventing a natural birth. However, Grace is with her mum as she witnesses the baby being born, and the doctors reveal that Helen has a newborn baby boy which she smiles at and she can't wait to hold her baby boy in her arms.
After a week in the hospital, Helen goes home with Grace and her son, who Helen has named Daniel Tommy Wolfe - a notable nod to her late wife and her ex-husband - Grace informs Winston of the birth and Winston congratulates Helen. The following day, Barbara and Winston go to see Helen and Grace along with Raven, however Helen notes that Raven looks like her dad as Barbara notes that Daniel looks his mum.
Like Winston, Grace also steps up and helps to look after her baby brother as Helen and Barbara are both very grateful for the extra help from Winston and Grace.
