27: Her First Soul

Layla stands in front of an abandoned building. It's falling apart at the seams but its perfect for what Layla's going to do. She grabs Daniel by the collar once more, throwing him through the broken down doors. He crashes into them and falls through them, hitting the dirt below. He groans before picking himself up and glaring at Layla.

Layla steps through the hole in the doors and her magic immediately creates a barrier around the building. Daniel notices and looks at her alarmed.

"What are you doing!? What's the barrier for!?" Daniel screech's, "Whats it for, Layla!?"

She snorts, "I don't have to tell you shit. But I'll tell you one thing."

"What?"

"We're here to make a deal, Daniel." She says.

"A deal!? No, nonono. I don't trust you and I'm sure as hell not making a deal with you!" Daniels exclaims

"But why not? I'm bored and I want entertainment, you can give it to me. And anyway, theres only tow ways you're getting out of here. You die, or you take the deal." Layla explains. A stone chair rises from the floor. She sits down, crossing her legs.

"Fine, what do you want?" Daniel asks in defeat.

Layla smiles at him, "Simple. Give me your soul or I kill you..again."

"What! No!" He yells, "Are you fucking crazy!?"

"Probably," she says shrugging, "if I am, it's your fault. And also said, you don't take it, I kill you."

"Nuh uh. No. I'm not doing it. Kill me if you want, I'll never give you my soul." Daniel says and shakes his head.

"Okay." Layla says. She stands up, walking towards him.

"Okay?" He asks, "Wait! Wait, what are you doing!?"

"Convincing you to take the deal. I want it so I'm going to get it." Layla stalks towards him and grabs him by the arm. She drags him towards a wall, holding him against it. Shadows rise up and grab ahold of him. They circle his arms, legs and waist, forcing him to stay at the wall.

"Let me go, Layla!"

She walks to him, her nails elongating as she drags them down Daniel's face, over his scars. He grits his teeth, tears falling from the pain.

"Are you seriously crying right now?" Layla asks and stabs her hand into his stomach. He screams out in pain and tries to move but is unable.

"STOP! STOP IT! LEAVE ME ALONE! AAUGH!" Layla traces her nail along his neck and a long red line follows. It's slow at first until blood points from Daniel's neck. Layla watches him choke for a moment before fire appears, healing. He raises his head slowly and looks at her defeated.

"C'mon, don't give up now, we just got started!" She exclaims and cackles. This is great! He looks so pitiful it's hilarious!

Layla stares at him. The shadows holding his right arm tighten suddenly causing Daniel to grunt in pain. It twists quickly, tearing off his arm. She lifts a hand to his new wound and fire appears. He screams in anguish as the fire eats at his flesh. The smell of burnt skin roams around the building. It extinguishes and he breathes in relief. His head hangs low and sweat drops to the dirty ground below.

"Ready to take the deal yet?" Layla asks and he whips his head up, glaring at her.

"No!" Daniel screams. Layla raises a brow. Okay. He's tough.

"You're tougher than I originally thought. Let's see if you can handle this," Layla says. She takes out her gun and puts in a red colored bullet then presses it close to his crotch.
