2 : 2 Truth?

Stolas wakes to a banging on his door. He jolts up and pulls a robe over his body while he runs over. He swings the door open and looks angry until he sees Vaggie and Charlie on the other side. He opens the door wider and lets them in.

"You look serious, what happened?" Stolas asks.

"Layla's alive." Vaggie says simply.

"What!?" He exclaims, "Wha..how?..What!?"
He stutters and Charlie stares at him.

"Daniel and Valentino still don't have their souls back so it's impossible she's dead. I would think they're lying if it was just one but both?" Charlie says

"Especially Valentino. The only way he can get his soul back is if Layla is dead. That's the only way. So she must be alive." Vaggie explains

"But where? I've looked all over Earth and I haven't seen her anywhere." He says

"Are we even sure that this is the only Earth in the Human Realm? Who's to say there aren't more we don't know about? And how many?" Charlie asks.

"I don't know. I've never thought about it. How do we know that she's not in heaven?" Stolas says

"She's a hellborn, Stolas, she can't go to heaven. She's never been a human with a choice so there's no chance for that." Vaggie replies

Stolas runs a hand down his face and squeezes the bridge between his eyes, "So shes a human?"

"She has to be." Charlie says, "I've already talked to my dad and he's searched everywhere in hell. She's not down here. It's the only plausible explanation."

Something glitches besides Stolas' head before a portal rips through. Through it, they can see a line of trees and what seems to be a dirt road.

"Shit!" A voice exclaims, "Wait! Wait, yes! Haha, I did it! I fucking did it!" The voice pauses, "Shit, I can't see anything. Whatever, at least I made a portal. Heehee!" The voice stops and the portal closes. The three stand in shock.

"Was that–did..huh?" Charlie squints in her eyes as if she's trying to see the portal again, "Who?"

"Layla. It was Layla."

Layla walks through the corridors, making her way to the throne room. She arrives and opens the door quietly, peering though. A few weeks ago, Layla finally made a portal to hell, after many many years of trying, except she couldn't see shit. Literally. It was annoying. But now, she can practice as much as she wants. She'll just have to make sure the neighboring kingdoms know their place.

Portals aren't the only thing she's having trouble with. Her illusions and shadows are the same, if not stronger, but her other magics — demon forms, telekinesis, etc. — completely suck. She's going to have to retrain most of her magic.

Layla creeps in, trying not to gain anyone's attention. She moves to the shadows and conceals herself. She sits for a while, waiting for the citizens to finish and leave.

Finally, after a few hours, Laylas entire body is asleep and the room is deserted besides the queen. She stands and makes her way behind the queen

"Amelia," Layla says simply and the queen jumps, ringing around.

She gasps and runs forward, "LAYLA!" Amie engulfs her into a hug and Layla wraps her arms around her friend.

"I'm back, Amie." Layla whispers and Amelia starts to sob in her arms. The knight shushes her, calming her down, "Im so sorry. I never should've left."

Amelia pulls back and glares, "No you shouldn't have!" She exclaims and pops Layla in the head while using one hand to wipe her tears.

Layla smiles and looks down, her mouth dropping, "Holy shit, you're pregnant."
