Heaven

Layla groans as she stands, shielding her eyes from the blinding light around her. She blinks as her eyes adjust. It's all..white?

"What the fuck?"

Laylas face morphs into disgust when she sees Lute sitting at a table near her.

"OH MY FUCKING STARS!"

...

Layla sits at the table from earlier with two seraphims sitting across from her. Surprisingly, Jeoffry is here too.

"Why am I in heaven? Send me back to hell!" Layla exclaims

"I cannot do that, Miss Barlowe. This situation is unbeknownst to me so I must wait for someone of higher status to arrive."  'Sera' says.

"Why don't you want to stay?" 'Emily' asks, "Shouldn't you have family here?"

"No, my family is in hell. Just let me go home."

"I apologize, Layla, just wait a few moments longer. I've seen glimpses of your life, just take this time to relax." Sera stands and exits the room.

Layla stares at the large figure in front of her, fear coiling tightly around her mind. They have no obvious features but it's clear to her that this is the big man himself.

"I gave you a chance as a human and then sent you to heaven, why do you ask to be sent to Lucifer's domain?"

She whips her eyes away and lowers her head, "I apologize, sir. I just want to see my family again. I request that you send me to Hell."

"And what of the young man beside you?"

"I'd like to follow my commander if that's an option." Jeoffry says with his eyes at the floor.

"You intrigue me, I'll grant your request, Layla Barlowe, but I'll be watching you." The figure disappears and the pressure over Layla leaves as well. She exhales shakily.

"I-I'll open the portal there," Sera stutters, taken aback by the situation.

...

Layla steps through into the Pride Ring with Jeoffry quickly behind. Her legs collapse as she looks around her. It's the...same. Completely the same. Jeoffry looks down at his commander, confused by her actions, he asks, "Commander, are you alright?"

"Y-yeah, I'm just...I'm home, Jeoffry. It's been so long. I just...I need a minute to adjust." She explains and Jeoffry sends her an understanding nod. He stands still for a moment before sitting next to her and waiting patiently.

Layla thinks for a moment. How much has changed since she's been gone? Where will she go? Does anyone remember her? What happened to the angels after the battle at Charlie's hotel? Will the love of her life be happy to see her? Is Loona even alive?

She shakes her head, clearing the questions from her mind before standing. Exhaling shakily, she rests a hand on her sword handle and looks at her surroundings. The most noticable thing is the giant building in the distance. After squinting for a moment, she figured out the writing on the top. A smile forms on her lips. The group had rebuilt the Hazbin Hotel but made it much bigger and fancier than before. Well, she's knows where they're going.

Layla stretches before pulling Jeoffry upwards.

"Are we going somewhere, commander?" He asks and she nods.

"Yeah, we are." Layla looks at him, smirking, "Nice look by the way."

Jeoffry looks down at himself, "Ah, I see. So this is what a demon looks like."
