Chapter Thirty-Three

     "Ezra, you have a meeting this coming Sunday" Zilah reported to Ezra who is busy making another weapon for Kairo.

      "Cancel" she said without looking at him.

    "That's the problem, we can't"

    "I said cancel it" Ezra repeated. Zilah looks troubled but explained anyway why she needs to attend this meeting.

     "I'm sorry to inform you, but we can't do that Ezra. The person you have the meeting with is the new president of this country. I already tried to reject them, but they offered something very useful to us"

       The 'very useful' word caught Ezra's attention. She put down the things on her hand and finally looks at Zilah with a serious face.

        "And what could be the very useful things he is referring to??" Zilah looks at her serious eyes and knows that if he says something wrong or something useless, something bad will happen. He gulps.

     He already interrupted her from making Kairo's new weapon but also disturb her from her work, which she dislike the most.

     But, he gathered his courage as he knows that after this coming meeting, they will gain alleys that can help them in the near future. This is a golden opportunity!!!

     "He wants to thank you for stopping the previous corrupt president and his people from destroying and harming everyone. He also wants you to meet some very influential people who also wants to thank you for making the medicine to saved their loved ones. They want to reward you with many useful things like weapons, rarest fruits around the world and even some special herbs that even Rea can't get her hands on!!! this are all a thank you gift and apology for the harm everyone have cause about the fake scandal" he explained

      After hearing Zilah's explination, Ezra started thinking about the disadvantages and advantages she could get if she attend the said meeting. She could get weapons, but she can make those. She could get rare fruits which is tempting because Kairo always wanted to try those and for the herbs, let's just she wanted them.

     But she doesn't want to interact with them and she didn't wants to leave a patience to Kairo and Coby who is still in a coma.

     Zilah saw her thinking and thought this is a good opportunity for him to convince her more.

     "They said you could bring Kairo and Coby if you want. I will also be there as your assistant to guide you, so you don't have to worry about anything"

      "No, I still have a patient in a coma. I can't leave him here alone" she said and started cleaning her tools. She didn't have anymore motivation to continue her work.

    Zilah sighs and helps her, how could he convince Ezra to attend the meeting??

      As he thinks of many possible way, Kairo came running to them and said

      "Master!!! The unconscious man is awake!! He is crazy!!! He keeps getting up while saying he needs to go back to the city!!! Coby is stopping him right now from reopening his wounds by tying him on the bed"

      Ezra hurriedly goes to guest room with Zilah and Kairo in tow. As they enter, the first thing they saw is Coby trying to stop the man from getting up from the bed.

       "Untie me!!! I need to go to the city to save them!!! Please!! I'm begging you!!! I can't lose them too!!!" The man begins to cry after realizing he could not escape.

    "What's the location??" Ezra ask, catching everyone off guard.

     'she/master will help him??' they all thought

     The man became silent, contemplating if he should tell Ezra about location of his brothers auction house. But still trusted his guts to tell her. Which is weird, he never trust anyone that easily!!

     "At the Rose Torn auction. They wanted to auction us out, we tried to escaped, but I was the only lucky one to escape that h**l whole!! Please help me!!!" The man begs, if Coby didn't tie him up, he would have come down on his knees for her to help him. He would do anything!!!

      "Okay, I'll save them but on one condition" Ezra looks at him and the man nodded hurriedly.

      "Thank you!!! I will do anything!! just please save them!!!"

     "Well then, you need to stay here and heal those wound. You don't want them to see you like this right??" Ezra points at the half opened wounds who already started bleeding.

      As if realizing that he have wounds, the man obediently stayed still while Ezra instructed Kairo to get the first aid kit.

   Coby: 'well, Ezra will always be Ezra' 

   Kairo: 'Master is really kind!! That's why she is my master!!'

   Zilah: 'as expected for my hero!!'

   After closing the wounds, Ezra looks at Zilah and said.

      "Get ready, we'll be heading out as soon as we finish packing. Tell the president we will be attending the meeting" she then goes to her room the pack the things she needed.

      Zilah smiled secretly and looks at the man on the bed. Thanking him in his mind for convincing Ezra to attend the meeting. Even though it was to save the mans brothers, which is a win-win for all of them.
