In Derek's car
Alexa and Derek had made it to his camero, getting in and silently driving out of the schools parking lot. The two continued to drive in silence as they made their way to Alexa's house.
"So I take it that bracelet you made Scott didn't work." Derek says breaking the silence.
"I guess not, or he wasn't wearing it." Alexa replied.
"It was one of my grandfathers spells, I guess I just haven't perfected it yet." she finished.
"I did see you cast a spell on Scott calming him down, I'm just glad no one noticed him shifting on the field." Derek says to the brunette girl in his passenger seat.
"It was really bad, we should've listened to you." Alexa admits.
"True, but at least now you know." Derek says looking over at her.
Alexa could feel his eyes on her which made her face turn bright red. She'd never admit it but she's starting to develop a small crush on the older guy.
Derek on the other hand thought she was the most beautiful girl he'd ever seen. He didn't understand why he constantly wanted to be around her. Derek honestly enjoyed her company, she had this personality that was infectious, to be near her was a privilege, he really believed that.
Alexas head was facing the window now, as she begins to lose herself in her thoughts. Thinking about this evenings game, her homicidal father back from the dead, a crazy alpha running around town, and her budding attraction towards the twenty year old, green eyed werewolf right next to her.
Derek notices her current state and decides to question if she was alright.
"You okay?" Derek asked the girl.
"Yeah just thinking." Alexa says in a soft voice.
"What's going on through that pretty little head of yours." Derek asks the girl without realizing he had just called her pretty.
Alexa, shocked by this turns bright red and smiles to herself, before answering.
"Just about how insane my life is right now, I'm ready for the crazy shit to die down." Alexa says looking over at Derek.
"I get it, but it doesn't stay like this forever." Derek says like he knows from experience.
