It has been two weeks since Alexa found her brother, since she banished her father to the prison world, since she had seen or talked to Derek. Over the course of those two weeks Alexa was helping her brother adjust to living in Beacon Hills with the help of her aunt, who came home as soon as she heard Philip was there.
Alexa had been so wrapped up in dealing with her family that she hadn't had time to talk to Derek, or see him. To be honest she was avoiding him, her budding feelings for the older werewolf was starting to confuse her, she knew she liked him, but she didn't want to hurt him, or be hurt by him.
Her attempts of avoiding him were about to come to end unfortunately for her. Alexa looks down at her phone and sees and incoming call from Scott McCall.
"Hey Scotty." Alexa says answering the phone.
"Lexi I need you to come outside." Scott says to her.
"Why?" Alexa asks confused.
"I'm with Derek, we're tracking the alpha, we need your help." Scott explains. Alexa's face drops at the mention of Derek, she wasn't ready to see him.
"Why me? Why now? I was about to go to sleep." Alexa whines.
"You're one of his beta's. You have to come too, so get up and quit whining, Philip can come too." Scott says rolling his eyes at the girl. Derek was listening in on the conversation, he had been so confused as to why Alexa had been dodging him lately, maybe now he was going to find out why.
"Fine we'll be out in a minute." Alexa huffs.
The girl stands up, putting on a lacrosse hoodie she stole from Stiles, and a pair of checkered pajama pants she stole from Scott, and went to find her brother.
"Lip!" Lexi yells out.
Philip who had heard his sister calling him runs out of his room to see what she needs.
"What's up bambi?" Philip asks.
"We're leaving let's go." She says dryly grabbing his arm leading him to the door.
"Where are we going? with who?" Lip asks confused.
"Derek and Scott need my help finding the alpha since I'm one of his beta's and I don't feel like going alone." Alexa said shrugging.
The brother-sister duo walked out of the house towards Derek's camero, where Scott got out to let them in.
