After escaping Kate Argent, Derek and Alexa decide to hide out at her house since Philip was still in School, and Bella went back to Chicago. Alexa was still injured, not realizing that she was shot with a wolfsbane bullet.
Derek and Alexa raced into her house and up to her room, hoping they weren't seen by anyone. As Alexa weakly stumbled into her room, Derek noticed she wasn't healing.
"Why aren't you healing?" Derek asked with concern laced in his voice.
"I'm not sure." Alexa said panting.
"Let me see it." Derek says. Alexa pulls her shirt up revealing the wound on her lower stomach, the wound was bloody with purple smoke coming out of it.
"Shit." Derek cursed.
"What's wrong?" The questions.
"It's wolfsbane." Derek replied.
"How do we fix that, especially without the bullet she used?" Alexa panics.
"We need to burn it out, which isn't exactly pleasant." Derek said looking at her.
"Fuck okay, there's a torch downstairs in the closet." Alexa breathes out.
Derek ran downstairs to the closet and grabbed the torch, while he was gone Alexa sat on her bed weakened. Derek comes running back in with the torch in his hand preparing to help Lexi.
"Alright this is gonna hurt." Derek says as he lights the torch and Alexa lays back pulling her shirt off.
Derek looks to see a now half naked Alexa and can't help but stare. Alexa could feel his eyes on her, and in any other circumstance she would've enjoyed it, but right now she was in poisoned and in pain.
"Hey! Eyes up here pretty boy, I've got a gunshot wound and wolfsbane poisoning, so please help first and stare later." Alexa says with attitude, Derek looks back up to her face and laughs.
"Yeah okay." Derek smirks.
Derek pulled the bullet out of her wound and prepared to burn the wolfsbane out. Alexa closed her eyes tightly shut waiting for the pain.
Derek took the torch and placed it over her wound now burning it out. Alexa let out a loud and pained scream as he does.
After about 3 minutes of Derek burning the wound and Alexa screaming in pain it was finally over and she was starting to heal.
