After finding the acendent Derek and Alexa went straight to the car, and drove off. Alexa had a plan, and Derek wanted to know what it was.
"So what's your plan?" Derek asks the girl curiously.
"I'm going to duplicate the acendent, and give my dad the fake one. I won't let him get ahold of the real one, I have no idea why he wants it, but I know it can't be for good reasons." Alexa explained looking down at the acendent.
"What happens when he figures it out?" Derek asks making a good point.
"Well honestly, he'll probably kill me." Alexa says with a blank stare.
"That's a terrible plan!" Derek shouts.
"Well it's the only one I have Derek!" Alexa snaps back.
"I need to call my dad and tell him I have it, and then I'll go from there, okay?" Alexa says lowering her voice. Derek mutters "fine". under his breath.
Alexa grabs her phone, opens her contacts, and hits her father's number. The phone rings for about four seconds, before Aaron answers.
"Did you get it?" Aaron asks his daughter eagerly.
"Yeah I have it." Alexa states plainly.
"Wonderful!" Aaron says happily.
"Now what?" Alexa questions the man.
"We meet tonight, and you'll hand over the accendent." Aaron states to the girl.
"Nope, nuh uh." Alexa dismisses immediately.
"I need some kind of insurance, I'm not going to walk into a trap." Alexa says.
"I assure you little one, no harm will come to you or anyone you care about this evening, you have my word." Aaron promises, making Alexa frown.
"Your word is worthless, I'd rather stick a fork in an electrical outlet than trust your word." Alexa sasses making Derek laugh lightly.
"Is that the werewolf you've grown close with I hear?" Aaron asks his daughter smirking.
"Fine, I understand your hesitancy. Bring the werewolf with you, I wouldn't be able to do anything against the both of you." Aaron says offering his daughter some sort of protection for this evening.
