You and Liam have been together for about a year. You love each other more than anything and you're sure that Liam is the love of your life. The only problem preventing you from finally enjoying your relationship to the full is the distance. You live several hours away from each other by plane. And that's exactly why you're sadly packing your suitcase.
During the semester break, you went to London and spent a few lovely days with Liam. A picnic in the park, a romantic dinner in a fancy restaurant, a boat trip through London and your personal highlight! The ride on the London Eye, for which Liam rented an entire cabin for the two of you. The view was amazing, but of course Liam only had eyes for you. He tried to keep your attention on him the whole time and attacked you with kisses. But he wasn't very successful with it! You simply found the view more interesting and turned Liam from boyfriend to a tour guide for a short time.
Of course, you couldn't resist buying the funniest souvenirs to bring back to your parents. Liam was totally fascinated by the fact that someone liked this tourist garbage and teased you about it all day. To say you had possibly the best time of your life is a real understatement. If there's one thing these weeks in London have shown you, it's that Liam and you belong together forever and that you never want to be without him for another day.
But now your vacation is over and you have to go back home. You're so sad about it that you could cry all day. But you don't want to embarrass yourself and start crying like a baby. But no matter how hard you try to hide your sadness, Liam has noticed your sudden change of mood. Even though you reassure him that everything is fine, he knows you're keeping your true feelings from him. "Do you still need help packing?" Liam asks as he walks into his large bedroom, where you've spread your things all over the place.
Afraid you might burst into a sea of tears at any second, you nod your head and bite the inside of your cheek. You've never cried in front of Liam before, and you don't really intend to. But when Liam touches your back and pushes you slightly to the side so he has better access to the suitcase, you can't help but let the tears flow freely.
Liam is visibly irritated and a little shocked at first. It takes him a few seconds to process this new emotion from you. "Hey, baby." he says softly, sits down on the bed and carefully pulls you onto his lap. You snuggle up close to him. "It's all good, sweetheart. You know I'm always just a phone call away!" he says softly and rubs your back reassuringly. The sight of you gives him a little stab in the heart. How he would love to have you with him every day. But unfortunately that's not possible. You have to go back to university and he's going on tour soon. "I'll visit you at the first opportunity." he tries again. But the attempt to cheer you up clearly fails. Instead of calming you down, your tears become even more intense. You cling to him with all your strength. If you didn't know any better, you'd say you were crushing him. But Liam doesn't say anything, he just holds you tightly and whispers sweet words in your ear to help you calm down.
