Louis:

You sit on the bed, phone in hand, staring at the floor. Your thoughts are blurry, and you barely feel the lump in your throat, cutting off every breath. Since yesterday, you haven't slept, haven't been able to think clearly. The pain is deep, spreading through every fiber of your body-and you know you can't get through this alone. So you call him.

After a few seconds, Louis answers. His voice sounds upbeat and relaxed, maybe fresh from soundcheck, but the moment he hears your sobs, he falls silent.

"Hey... hey, what's wrong, love?" His voice turns soft, concerned.

You struggle to find the words, swallow, try to stop the flood of tears, but you can't. "Louis... you... you need to come home, please." Your voice breaks, and the tears spill over again.

On the other end, there's a moment of absolute silence. "What happened?" he asks, and you can hear the fear creeping into his voice, suddenly quieter and tense.

You swallow, but the words still feel stuck in your throat. "I... I'm so sorry," you finally say, your voice barely a whisper. "I... I had a miscarriage."

The words feel like a cold, cruel reality, settling between you, irreversible. For a moment, there's absolute silence on the line, and you wonder if he's still there. Then, you hear him inhale softly.

"Oh my god..." His voice is so gentle, so full of pain, that tears fill your eyes once more. Instinctively, you place a hand over your stomach, the space where your baby should be growing. You and Louis had been so excited for the baby. Even though it was unplanned and definitely came at the worst possible time, you both wanted it. But now it's gone. The tiny heart just stopped beating.

Louis says nothing for a moment, and the silence between you feels heavy. You hear him take a deep breath, as if trying to gather the right words.

"I..." His voice cracks slightly. "I'm so sorry, love. I wish I could be there with you right now." You feel the sorrow and desperation in his words, and you know that the distance is weighing on him just as much as it is on you.

"I know," you whisper. Your hand on your stomach feels heavy, like it's emphasizing the emptiness spreading through you. "I... I kept hoping that maybe it was okay. That they'd made a mistake. But..." Your voice catches in another sob, and you hear Louis exhale deeply, as if he's trying to calm you, even from afar.

"Listen to me," he says then, his voice quiet and gentle. "I'm packing my things now and coming home. Nothing here is more important than you. Than us." His words cut through the pain, and for a moment, you feel a small sense of relief, even though the ache is still overwhelming.

"Okay," you whisper, your voice barely a breath. You know he'll keep his promise, that he's really dropping everything to be with you. "Please, just come as soon as you can."

"I'm on my way," he promises. "I'll be there soon."

After you hang up, silence fills the room once more. Only a small notification on your phone breaks it, and you open it, tears spilling again as you read: "Due to personal reasons, tonight's show in Paris is canceled. We appreciate your understanding. Info on tickets and rescheduling will be announced soon."

Harry:

You sit in the darkness, your hands trembling slightly as you stare at your phone. The room around you suddenly feels much larger, emptier. The words you're about to type burn in your mind, as if releasing a pain that's been rooted deep inside you.

"Harry, I need you."

You send the message, and the moment it disappears, a heavy silence settles within you. It doesn't take long before your phone vibrates. Harry is calling. Of course, he is. You answer, and just the sound of his breath on the other end makes your façade begin to crumble.
