Zayn:

You had been dating Zayn for only a few weeks, and things still felt new and exciting—but also a little nerve-wracking. You wanted to seem effortless and confident around him, but today, the universe had other plans.

It hit you out of nowhere: cramps, the telltale feeling of discomfort, and that dreaded realization. You excused yourself to the bathroom, trying to stay calm as you closed the door behind you. But as you glanced down, panic set in. There it was. You’d leaked.

Your heart raced as you stared at the small red stain on your pants, the one thing you had prayed wouldn’t happen, especially not in front of Zayn. Tears started streaming down your face as you frantically tried to figure out a plan. What could you do? The relationship was so new—what if this scared him off?

Sitting on the bathroom floor, you buried your head in your hands. The humiliation felt overwhelming. You didn’t hear the knock at first, but then his soft voice broke through.

“Babe? Are you okay?” Zayn’s tone was laced with concern.

You quickly wiped your tears, trying to steady your voice. “Yeah, I’m fine! Just, uh… taking a moment.”

There was a pause before he spoke again, his voice gentle. “You’ve been in there a while. Can I do anything?”

You bit your lip, debating whether to tell him. But before you could say anything, the door opened just a crack. He must have seen the tear streaks on your cheeks, because in an instant, he was kneeling next to you on the bathroom floor.

“Hey, what’s wrong?” he asked softly, his brow furrowed with worry.

You turned away, hiding your face. “Zayn, I… I can’t,” you stammered, your voice shaky. “It’s just—ugh, it’s embarrassing, okay?”

He tilted his head, waiting patiently. “It’s me. You don’t have to be embarrassed,” he said, his voice so calm it almost made you cry harder.

Finally, you blurted it out. “I got my period, and I wasn’t prepared. And now… I leaked.” You buried your face in your hands again, bracing yourself for his reaction.

To your surprise, he didn’t laugh or pull away. Instead, he gently placed a hand on your knee. “That’s it?” he said softly, a small smile tugging at his lips. “Babe, it’s not a big deal.”

You peeked at him through your fingers. “It feels like a big deal to me.”

“Well, it’s not to me,” he reassured you. “It’s natural. Happens to everyone. Do you need anything? Pads? Tampons? Chocolate?” He smirked at the last word, trying to make you smile.

You sniffled, managing a small laugh. “I think I just need a change of clothes and maybe a hug.”

“Done,” he said, standing up. “I’ll grab you some sweats and take care of everything else. You just relax.”

As he left the bathroom, you sat there, stunned by how sweet and understanding he was. Moments later, he returned with your comfiest clothes and even a blanket. He handed them to you, then kissed the top of your head.

“See? No reason to cry over this,” he said with a soft smile. “You’ve got me, and I’ve got you.”

And just like that, the panic faded.

Liam:

You’d been so excited to spend the night at Liam’s place. It was your first time staying over, and everything about him made you feel comfortable and cared for. But as luck would have it, Mother Nature decided to ruin the evening.
