Louis:

The air was crisp and filled with the sweet scents of roasted chestnuts and spiced cider as you strolled through the bustling Christmas market. Twinkling fairy lights adorned every stall, and cheerful carols played softly in the background. It was the perfect setting for a cozy family outing, and your son couldn't contain his excitement.

"Daddy! Look!" your little boy exclaimed, his tiny hand tugging at Louis' coat sleeve as he pointed to the brightly lit carousel ahead. His eyes sparkled with pure joy, his cheeks flushed pink from the cold. "Can we go? Please, can we go?"

Louis crouched down to his son's level, a grin spreading across his face as he adjusted the boy's scarf. "A carousel, huh? You think you're ready for that? Those things go pretty fast, you know," he teased, his voice full of playful dramatics.

"Yeah, I'm ready!" your son giggled, bouncing on his toes. "Come on, Daddy! You have to come with me!"

Louis glanced up at you with a soft smile before turning back to your son. "Alright, mate. Let's do it. But only if you promise not to let go of me. Deal?"

"Deal!" your son squealed, grabbing his dad's hand and practically dragging him toward the carousel.

You watched as the two climbed aboard, Louis helping your son pick out the perfect horse to sit on. Your heart swelled as you saw Louis settle behind him, his arms securely wrapped around the boy to make sure he felt safe.

As the carousel began to turn, your son's laughter rang out, mixing with the cheerful music. Louis leaned closer to whisper something in his ear, and your little boy threw his head back, laughing even louder. The sight of them together, sharing such a simple yet magical moment, made your chest tighten with love.

When the ride finally slowed to a stop, your son turned to Louis with the widest grin. "That was the best, Daddy! Can we do it again?"

Louis ruffled the boy's hair, his own smile as big as his son's. "We'll see, buddy. Let's grab some hot chocolate first, yeah? Can't have you turning into a little popsicle."

Your son nodded enthusiastically, and as they walked back to you hand in hand, Louis reached out to take your free hand in his. "I think he's having the time of his life," Louis said softly, his eyes warm as they met yours.

You smiled, leaning into him as your son started chattering about the ride. "And so am I," you whispered.

In that moment, surrounded by the magic of Christmas and the love of your little family, everything felt perfect.

Liam:

The soft glow of twinkling Christmas lights surrounded the small ice rink, casting a magical ambiance over the winter evening. Laughter and the occasional sound of skates scraping against the ice filled the air. You stood at the edge, wrapped in your warm coat and scarf, watching Liam and your daughter lace up their skates.

"Daddy, are you sure I won't fall?" your little girl asked, her big, curious eyes locked on Liam as he knelt to tie her skates securely.

Liam smiled, his warm brown eyes full of reassurance. "You might fall a little, love, but that's all part of the fun. And don't worry, I'll be right there to catch you."

She giggled, her cheeks pink from the cold, as she wiggled her tiny feet in the skates. "Okay, Daddy! Let's do it!"

Liam stood, holding out both hands for her to take. "Alright, my little snowflake. Let's go."

You couldn't help but grin as they made their way onto the ice, Liam's strong hands keeping your daughter steady as she shuffled her feet, clearly unsure at first.
