Harry is the love of your life. You two are getting married in three months and you couldn't be more excited. It's always been your dream to have a big fairytale wedding and spend the best day of your life with the most important people in your life. That's why it wasn't a problem for you that Harry wasn't quite as enthusiastic about the preparations as you were. If it had been up to him, you would have got on a plane and had a quick wedding in Las Vegas. The main thing is that he can finally call you his wife. But not with you!
You've planned everything down to the last detail. You've ordered the cake, chosen the decorations, booked the DJ and your dress is ready. Everything is perfect. The only thing missing now is the wedding dance. Full of joy, you make your way to Harry's studio, where he is currently working on new music. "Hey my Love!" he greets you with shining eyes. "We've just finished the next song. Do you want to hear it?" he asks you, smiling. "I'd love to, sweetheart, but we don't have time!" he looks at you questioningly. "Why, what are we going to do?" your smile slowly disappears from your face. "We've got the dance class I signed up for. We need to start preparing for our dance." Harry looks at you with sad eyes. "Baby." he says, walking towards you with slow steps. There's this uneasy feeling growing inside you that you're being stood up. "I'm really sorry, but I don't have time today. We still have to write the second song and I have the meeting about the upcoming tour later."
You can't believe your ears. "We'll reschedule, okay?" he says carefully and gives you a kiss on the forehead. "I'll see you at home," he announces and turns to his guitar. Stunned, you stand in the small studio and wait for Harry to change his mind. But you are bitterly disappointed. Sadly, you get into the car and make your way home.
A good five hours later, late at night, you hear the front door open. You can hear soft footsteps coming up the stairs. You hear the shower in the bathroom and a short time later Harry's electric toothbrush. With quiet steps, he makes his way to your bed. Unaware that you're still awake, he lies down next to you. "So, have you finished writing your song?" you ask into the darkness, giving Harry the fright of his life. "My God, you scared me," he says and kisses you. "Just be careful, otherwise you'll have to get married without me because I died of a heart attack and won't be able to attend our wedding!" he laughs and snuggles up to you.
But you don't feel like laughing. You can't shake the feeling that Harry isn't taking the whole wedding thing seriously and is making fun of you and your little fantasy. You try in vain to suppress your tears by breathing. But you're losing the battle against the emotions that have built up over the last few hours. "What's wrong?" asks Harry, who has wiped away one of your tears. "Nothing!" you say angrily. Harry turns on the light and breathes a sigh of surprise as he looks at your bright red, tear-stained face. "What's wrong?" he asks again with more pressure. You jump up angrily. "You Harry! I just wanted to do this stupid dance class with you. Do you even want to get married? Because it doesn't look like it." Startled by your sudden outburst, Harry follows you into the bathroom, where you try to get your tears back under control. "I'm sorry." he says with a sad look on his face. "I'll make it up to you, I promise!" He hugs you tightly and takes you back to bed, where you fall asleep cuddled up.
