Lisa's POV:

I apply more gloss on my lips until I'm satisfied with my look. Right now I'm seated in front of the mirror in my room and Joshua is in the bathroom, getting himself ready because he's planning to go somewhere.

"Joshua?" I call out his name.

"Yes?" he walks out of the bathroom looking all charming and I smile sheepishly at him.

How is it humanly possible for someone to be this attractive?

"Are you going somewhere?" I ask him.

"Yeah." he answers.

"Okay, have fun." I say, turning back to look at my reflection in the mirror and apply more gloss over my lips.

"What's going on?" he questions as he takes two steps towards me.

"Nothing," I turn my head to face him, "Have fun, I'll just take a nap since I don't have a lot of work today."

"Why do you seem to be upset or something? Did I do anything wrong?"

"No," I chuckle, "I.."

"I'm not going then." he sits on the bed and I laugh.

"What? I didn't mean-"

"I'll stay with you here instead." he states and I feel my cheeks flush.

Well that wasn't a difficult task by the way. I wasn't too sure if my useless plan to make Josh stay with me instead would actually work. And now, I'm happy that he's not going anywhere.

"Well, that's fine too."

At this, Joshua and I sit in front of the bed, I rest my head on his shoulder and intertwine my hand with his.

"Can I ask you something?"

"Hmmm."

"Why did you fall in love with me?" I ask him the question I always ask myself since the day he confessed his feelings to me.

"What?"

"What made you fall in love with me?"

"I.. I.. why are you asking that?" I feel his gaze on me the entire time as I shrug.

"I'm curious. I was the only one who used to feel everything, and well.. you felt absolutely nothing. So what made you change your mind?"

"Trina," he sighs, "well.. I don't know?" he says more like a question.

"You don't know why you're with me Joshua?" I ask, looking into his beautiful eyes.

"Because you're beautiful?"

"You love me because I'm beautiful?" I shake my head in disbelief and watch as he runs his hand through his hair.

"And talented?" he exhales again, "I honestly don't know why I'm so in love with you. Tell me why you've always been in love with me since the day we met." he demands and I flush.

"Well.. I don't know." I begin laughing and he joins me.

It feels so good to laugh with the person you love. It's the best feeling ever. Nothing has ever felt like this before.

None of us has a clue why we're in love with each other.

"Fair then." Joshua states and I nod my head.

He looks into my eyes, making my heart skip a beat.

"Even if I don't know why the hell I'm in love with you, just know that I'll always love you." he plants a small kiss on my lips and I smile at him.
