Lisa's pov:

As I feel myself waking up, I pull the off my head then open my eyes.

I'm both a morning and night person, not like I don't enjoy sleeping, but I have a lot of things to take care of.

It's 6:02 in the morning, I walk to the bathroom and take a cold shower.

When I'm done, I walk to my closet and look at my dresses hanging...

Red it is.

I decide to go with a long sleeved red dress that is V open at my back and reaches above my knees, with 5.5 inch ultra high heels.

I then walk to my mirror and apply some make up, not forgetting the red lipstick.

What?

I love red. I think it suits my personality.

"perfect." I say to my self.

I love everything to be perfect, I'm a perfectionist.

I grab my bag and iPhone as I walk downstairs to have breakfast.

Strange, I always find mom and dad waiting for me in the dining room.

I look around, but I don't see them. Not even the maids.

They have already left? Without informing me?

Just then when I decide to leave as well...

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!"

Mom, dad and the workers walk to my direction with smiles on their faces.

I completely forgot about my birthday.

I hug my mom and dad, "happy birthday!" my mom smiles pulling me into a hug again.

"thanks mom and dad." I smile back then let go.

"happy birthday ma'am."

"happy birthday miss Trina."

...

All the workers wish me as I only nod my head in response.

"don't tell me you're going to work today." my mom sighs as she holds my hands.

"yes, I'll be back before you know it."

"no, today is your day so no work!"

"mom, dad make her understand there's something I need to take care of."

"okay be back before the party." mom demands.

"I will." I give her a reassuring smile then walk out of the mansion.

I park my car in the parking lot and walk into the building.

All my employees are in their cubicles in the lobby.

"happy birthday miss Trina!" they all shout.

Without saying anything, I walk straight to my elevator.

What? They are used anyways, no offense.

I step out and walk in my office where I find Kelvin waiting for me.

"Happy birthday miss Trina." he smiles.

"yeah..." I reply as I sit on my chair waiting for him to say something.

I really can't believe I'm already 23 years old, I feel so old!

He gives me a file showing my schedule for today and I cancel all of them because mom would kill me if I miss the party.
