Stuck With You

Lisa's POV :

"Where are we going?" I ask as Joshua covers my eyes.

"Be patient sweetheart." he laughs from behind me as I feel him leading me somewhere.

"Joshua, are you trying to kidnap me?"

He laughs again, "How did you know that?"

"I'm smart.. but not academically."

We both laugh at my response as I feel us halt to a stop and he slowly uncovers my eyes.

It takes a few minutes for me to adjust to the light, but after a couple of seconds, my mouth open in awe.

I look around me and all I can see are the pretty flowers under the trees. I remember he told me about a beautiful forest just a few meters away from his place and I'm sure this is the one he was talking about. This forest is indeed a lovely place. The sunbeams dances through the trees, the ground is carpeted with beautiful flowers and overhead the birds sing merrily.

"Woah.. this is so.. beautiful. " I turn to face him with a smile and he nods, shoving his hands in the pockets of his jeans.

"Not as beautiful as you though. " he says and I blush.

"I never imagined it to be this.. breathtaking." I admit.

Joshua gives me a dimpled smile as he leans forward and kisses my cheek, I swear I almost forgot how to breathe.

He picks a flower for me and I smile as I smell it. It smells so heavenly. He then takes my hand into his as we continue to walk farther into the woods.

"We should pick more flowers." I suggest.

"No." he states and I frown as I stare at the beautiful flowers.

"I have something else planned." he adds.

"We won't take too long. Or you can just wait for me?" I suggest and he nods.

"He doesn't want me to pick these beautiful flowers for myself yet he hasn't bought me any for like a month now." I mumble to myself as I start to gather the flowers.

"Did you say something?" he asks and I quickly shake my head.

"Don't you think those are more than enough?" he asks and I look at him in shock.

"Enough?" I chuckle, "I just started, besides that.. I have no idea when I'll ever receive beautiful flowers from you." I remark and he chuckles as he continues to watch me pick more flowers.

I hear a click and look up to see Joshua with his phone directed at me.

"Did you just?" I ask in complete shock as Joshua turns the camera around to show me the picture.

Of course it's me with my eyes closed and smiling while smelling the flowers.

"I love it." Joshua admits with a smile, "it's my favorite now." he adds and I roll my eyes.

"Whatever. I'm done now." I stand in front of him with two bouquets of flowers in my hands.

He doesn't say anything, "You said you have other plans." I add.

"I do." he says slowly, still looking into my eyes and I gulp.

"Well then let's go." I walk past him but he doesn't move.

Whatever is going on in his mind shouldn't ruin this beautiful moment.

"Trina." he calls out and I stop in my tracks.
