Lisa's POV:
"I missed you guys so much! Thank you for inviting us." Gina says with a smile.
Joshua and I are having dinner with his sisters: Gina and Gianna in one of the finest restaurants in New York.
"It was her idea and I wasn't even interested when she told me that you two will be here." he says curtly as he holds my hand.
"Stop being rude to the girls Joshua." I scold him.
"I'm so glad that you finally decided to settle down in your life." Gina says and I chuckle.
"I hope you settle down too Gina, you're just like him.. like how he was before." Gianna remarks.
"I just saw Steve with a hot brunette." Joshua says to Gianna with a wicked smile and I remove his hand from mine, glaring at him.
Did he just call her hot?
"Really? You're kidding me right?" Gianna is totally freaking out by the mention of her ex boyfriend's name. Her face has turned pale.
"He's right behind you." Joshua teases her and she frowns at him.
Gianna turns around to see no trace of Steve behind her.
"I hate you!" she says while Joshua and Gina bursts into laughter.
"Wow! I'm so proud of you." Gina gives Joshua a fist bump.
"You too Gina?" she rolls her eyes and I stay quiet.
I'm still mad by the way. He shouldn't have called whoever it was hot.
I feel his hand over mine and I jerk away. He sighs, "Let me guess, you're jealous because I called an imaginary brunette hot?"
"I'm not jealous." I state.
"I have a jealous girlfriend who I love so much despite her not trusting me enough." he says with a frown.
"I'm not jealous and stop being rude to Gianna. I'm talking to you too Gina." I warn my boyfriend and his sister.
Joshua throws his hands up in defense and I roll my eyes.
"Whatever." I say.
"Learn to trust me. You're the only woman I love and you know that, don't you Trina?"
"I know. But you still said she's hot, that means you don't find me to be hot anymore." I frown at my boyfriend and he chuckles.
"It's not funny." I add.
"Okay, I'm sorry." he says as he kisses my cheek and I blush.
"Okay love birds, get a room. I'm still a child please." Gina teases.
"Get a boyfriend if you want." Joshua says to Gina.
"What's up with you today?" I ask him.
"It's because you invited them without asking me first." he remarks and I roll my eyes.
I hear my phone going off from across me on the table and I grab it to see Mom's number on the screen.
"Hello?"
"Trina my baby, how are you doing?"
"I'm doing great actually. How are you?"
"I'm alright. I called to inform you that we're having dinner with Mr and Mrs Dawns." she says from the other side.
"Okay?"
"And I think you should go with us to their mansion too."
"Me? I mean, no it'll be better if I don't-"
