"Wait, dear." Olenna huffed as she struggled to keep up with the young stag as they descended down the stairs of the Great Sept of Baelor.
The funeral of Myrcella Baratheon ended without much of an attendance including the absence of her mother, Cersei Lannister. Ardella offered the old Tyrell a polite smile in hopes to disguise their recent closeness from the prying eyes that seem to be on her a lot lately.
But the Queen of Thorns was unbothered as she linked their arms together to walk beside her. "So, how does it feel to be the heir presumptive of the iron throne?" Olenna asked nonchalantly without a care in the world.
Truthfully, Ardella was troubled with Myrcella's death that made her the last Baratheon even for those who accepted Cersei's children with only Tommen living and reigning as part of the Baratheon dynasty.
"Only until your granddaughter gives birth to a prince or a princess. Worry not my lady, I do not plan to get accustomed to that role for long." Ardella answered, trying to hide her discomfort.
Olenna only scoffed as she stared back at the Sept that Margaery is still imprisoned. "Even if she wasn't confined, Margaery wouldn't rush to bear an heir." Her voice lowered with a hint of seriousness.
"Why is that?"
"At least, not until that Lannister whore is out of her way. She knows that if she gives birth, Cersei wouldn't mind getting rid of her. With a newborn babe that she can dangle over the Tyrells, why would she let Margaery live and breathe?" Olenna shook her head out of disgust.
Ardella nodded with an understanding since Cersei even dared to arrest her without much concern . It doesn't require much convincing for the Baratheon to believe that she will kill Margaery if she ever gives birth.
"I know you have your ship ready to set sail at any time." Olenna said out of a sudden but Ardella kept quiet because her current thread of connection to the Tyrells have become her biggest liability with Cersei's confinement ending sooner that she expected.
For the sake of her granddaughter, Olenna Tyrell might side with the lioness using what Ardella has done to her. That will most definitely make the queen mother to overlook her distaste towards Margaery to preserve her last child's throne with Ardella's blood.
"Why are you still here then?" Cutting her thoughts, the old woman asked but Ardella couldn't answer.
The Baratheon asked herself the exact question over and over again since she is aware of the looming threat to her life increasing each day in the Lannister court.
Instead of answering, this time Ardella turned to the Sept briefly. Olenna understood the implication clearly as she patted the Baratheon's hand softly for she had her suspicions from the beginning. Afterall, beauty is their deadliest weapon.

"Seven blessings to you, your holiness."
High sparrow turned to see the Lady of Storm's End who has visited the Great Sept not long after making his acquaintance at the funeral.
He simply nodded in acknowledgment, "Are you here to pray, your highness?"
Ardella's polite mask remained intact as she innocently confessed, "Yes. But I also seek the guidance of the Crone."
The mention of one of the Seven Gods, piqued the interest of the old man who is rarely impressed by the presence of high lords and ladies in his Sept.
"Many tragedies have occurred lately and I believe it is the divine punishment we deserve, your holiness. The Seven must have sent you here for a reason." Ardella sighed, testing to see if the high sparrow is indeed a holy man who has forsaken even flattery.
