Rebellious Sister

"Why in heaven's name would he do something like that?" Elisabeth exclaims to her husband once he told her.

"I'm sorry, she must've talked him into it." You tell her, but she stops and looks at you.

"She? Who's she?" She asks you and everyone looks at you.

"Skye, my sister." You tell them.

"That girl he met when he skipped orientation. I told him to go back but he wouldn't listen." Jim says and you cover your face, feeling awful.

"Hey, we're not blaming you, Yn." Elisabeth reassures you squeeze your hands slightly and you give her a small sad smile. She then turns to Jim. "I'm going with you."

"No, you're not. It's too dangerous."

"Jim! Our son is out there!" She exclaims.

"Yeah, let me handle it." He says.

"No, you handling it is why he's out there in the first place." She says and walks out.

"Elisabeth!" Jim says before turning to Liam.

"Stay here. Watch your sisters." He tells him.

"Dad!" Maddy says but her father interrupts her.

"It's okay, everything is gonna be okay. I promise." Jim says before closing the door after him.

Elisabeth, Jim and Taylor leave Terra Nova to find the kids.

You sit with Zoe, keeping her company with Liam as you draw with her. Liam just watching and occasionally talking with his sister.

"So, you were a cop?" You ask Liam.

"Yeah, I worked with him a lot before I got my badge, after I got out of school, some during too. I had just become an officer before my dad.. When he was arrested, I.. I lost my job, for keeping the secret that my family had a fourth child."

You nod in understanding and are about to say something when Zoe speaks up.

"You have a sister too?" She asks you.

"Yeah, she's a few years younger than me, she's about Josh's age." You tell her.

Then it knocks on the door. Liam is about to stand when Maddy runs to the door before he gets the chance. He still walks up to the door with her.

"Hi." Mark says.

"Hey." Maddy says and Liam raise an eyebrow at him.

"What are you doing here?" Maddy asks before Liam gets to.

"Well, with everything going on. I wanted to make sure you were okay." Mark says, avoiding Liams eyes a bit, while Maddy tries to push Liam away to let Mark inside.

"Yeah. You know, we're okay, considering." She says and gestures for him to come in.

"We haven't heard anything back from the search team yet, but shouldn't be long though. I'm sure your brothers gonna be okay." Mark says walking past Liam who looks at him suspiciously.

"Hey, Mark." You say when you see him.

"Oh, hey, Yn." Mark says, ignoring your teasing look, turning to Maddy again. "If you need anything, just.."
