Liam and Jim walks down the street and passes Josh.
"Josh?" Liam asks, stopping him. Jim had walked past but turned when hearing the name.
"Liam? Dad?" He says looking at the two.
"You're supposed to be at orientation. What are you doing?" Liam asks him.
Liam and Jim turn and see the girl he's with and Liam frowns at her before turning back to his brother. Jim now walking up to them.
"Josh, this is not how you start your first day. Would you excuse my son, please?" Jim says looking at the girl. "There's somewhere he needs to be. Let's go."
"Come on." Josh tells Skye and tries to leave, but Jim stops him.
"Hey, I told you-"
"You can't just come back after all this time and start telling me what to do." Josh says and Jim just looks at him not sure what to say.
"Well, I'm telling you." Liam then says.
"And you're not my dad." He spits at him angrily and Liam glares at him.
Josh and Skye just look at them and then turn to go.

"So how bad are things in 2149?" Skye asks Josh.
"It's funny. When it's the only thing you know, it all seems so normal. But coming here makes you realise how bad things have gotten."
"I don't really remember much. I was just a kid when we left." Skye tells him. "Oh, this is my place here."
She stops and walks up to a house.
"Hey, guys. This is Josh. He's new."
"Welcome to Terra Nova, I'm Tasha. That's Hunter." Tasha says coming out with a basket with oranges.
"How you doing, fresh?" Hunter says and throws him an orange.
"So far, so good." He answers. "So, this is all your guys place?"
"Yeah. Us, my sister and Max." Skye tells him.
"And your parents?" Josh asks.
"Mine lives just up that way. Why?"
"I mean it's your own place. Aren't you only like 16?" Josh ask.
"So? I mean we work. We have jobs." Tasha tells him.
"Yeah this is a frontier, son. You gotta grow up quick." Hunter says.
"Yeah, you got the whole, Taylor welcome speech, didn't you? We're the new dawn of civilisation." Skye says.
Max then comes up and slap Josh on the shoulder making him jump in surprise.
"How was the office, sweetheart?" Hunter jokes.
"Not bad." Max chuckles. "We finished another hydro-turbine today. Who's the fresh?"
"Names Josh."
"Max. Glad to meet you." He tells him before turning to the others. "It's so hot. Who's up for a little OTG?"
"Yes. And let's go before my sister gets home and tries to stop me." Skye rolls her eyes.
"On foot? No way." Tasha says.
"Well, guess who started repair-dock duty this week?"
"Great. Okay. We'll meet you guys at the usual spot, in 20?"
"OTG on your first day. I mean, that's gotta be a record."
Skye drags Josh with him.
