Chapter 3: Where's Platform 9 And 3/4?

(I don't ship Romione, I ship Dramione. So Ron and Hermione never get together in this story. Sorry to all the Romione shippers out there!)

Reyna grabbed her trunk and pulled it out of the taxi. It was September 1st, and they were at King's Cross Station. It was finally time to go to Pigsblister, or Hogspimples, or whatever the name of that darned school was.

Holding hands with Asher, she walked over to platform 9, expecting to see platform 9 and 3/4 next to it. But there was nothing in between 9 and 10.

"Um, where's the platform?" Asher asked, furrowing his brow. Then, they saw groups of young people just disappearing through the barrier between the two platforms.

"Oh no...you have got to be kidding me." Reyna said as soon as she realized what they had to do. Asher grinned at her and ran straight at the barrier, disappearing as well. Reyna cursed under her breath and ran after him. It was like she had stepped through a portal. The station behind her faded away, revealing a single, crowded platform. A red train was waiting there, with the words "Hogwarts Express" on the side in gold.

"This is wicked cool!" Asher exclaimed, reappearing behind her. They picked up their trunk and lugged them onto the train. As soon as they found an empty compartment, they sat down.

After a few minutes, the door to their compartment slid open. A skinny boy and a pretty girl walked in. The boy had black hair, emerald green eyes, and glasses  He had a strange scar on his forehead. It looked almost like Zeus' master bolt. So this must be Harry Potter, Reyna thought. His eyes do look a lot like Asher's. The girl had flaming red hair and hazel brown eyes.

"Oh, hello Asher. Didn't know you were coming to Hogwarts. Can we sit here?" Harry asked. Asher nodded and smiled at the sight of his cousin. Harry sat down and the girl sat next to him.

"I'm Harry Potter, and this is my girlfriend Ginny Weasley. It's nice to meet you." Harry said to Reyna.

"I'm Reyna Ramirez-Arellano, but never call me by my full name. Nice to meet you too." She replied. Reyna and Ginny began talking as if they were old friends. They talked about their lives, and how they had met their boyfriends. Surprisingly, Ginny knew about the Greek and Roman gods. Apparently, Harry had told her a week earlier, and she took a very keen interest in Camp Jupiter. Reyna suspected that Ginny wanted to live there with Harry. She hadn't the slightest clue what the boys were talking about.

Halfway through the train ride, the door of the compartment opened again. A girl with bushy brown hair and brown eyes walked in first, followed by a tall boy with blue eyes and the same flaming red hair as Ginny's.

"Reyna, this is my brother Ron, and my best friend Hermione Granger." Ginny introduced. 

"Nice to meet you." Hermione said kindly. 

"Nice to meet you too." Reyna replied. Ron said nothing. He was too busy stuffing his face with some kind of chocolate that looked like a frog. Asher and Harry soon started eating too. The girls exchanged an eye roll together.

Boys will be boys...
