"Do you think she'll like it?" Draco asked nervously, clutching a wrapped present.

"She had better like it. I let you borrow 5 galleons from me for that." Reyna replied. An hour earlier, they had gone to Hogsmeade and Draco had heard it was Hermione's birthday that day. So he went crazy, dragging them from store to store until he found the right present. Draco finally decided to buy a gold necklace with a book charm. Now, they were standing outside the library, where Hermione was studying.

"It's not my fault my parents cut off my allowance!"

"Whatever, lover boy. Just give the present to her." Reyna said. Draco took a deep breath and walked in. Ten minutes later, he came out with a defeated expression.

"Well? What happened?" She asked, curious.

"She accepted the gift, but refused my date offer. She told me she wouldn't go on a date with a bully and a Death Eater." Draco said, frustrated.

"Welp. You still owe me 5 galleons, you know." Reyna said. He gave her a look that told her she was being extremely unhelpful.

"I can talk to her if you want..." She offered. Draco's eyes lit up.

"Yes! Thank you." He said, almost hugging her. Draco quickly pulled his arms back when he realised what he was about to do.

"A little show of affection wouldn't hurt, you know." Reyna told him. Draco rolled his eyes and awkwardly patted her shoulder instead.

Later in the afternoon, a Quidditch game was held. It was Gryffindor against Slytherin, and Reyna thought it would be the perfect opportunity to talk to Hermione. If she could make it to the Gryffindor's side of the stadium, that is.

As soon as the game started, she ducked down below the crowd of supporters and tried to make her way over to Hermione. It was harder than it sounded. The crowd went wild every time someone made a goal, which made it hard to concentrate. And she had to listen to Asher's voice all the time, as he was the commentator for the game.

"And Ginny Weasley scores, making it a tie for Gryffindor and Slytherin!"

Reyna was passing the Ravenclaws...

"Astoria Greengrass steals the quaffle, that little-Nevermind, I'm not gonna say it."

She was fighting her way through a sea of Hufflepuffs...

"Oh, Ron Weasley takes a bludger to the head! He's fallen off his broomstick, he's pummeling to the ground, someone catch him! Oh snap, no one caught him in time. Is he still alive?"

She finally arrived next to Hermione, who was looking at Ron in fear, afraid of what might have happened to him. Reyna really couldn't care less if that ginger moron died or not.

"Hey, Hermione!" Reyna said.

"Oh, Reyna! What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be with the Slytherins?" Hermione asked.

"I just came to talk to you about Draco."

"Draco? That twitchy little loathsome ferret? What about him?"

"You should go out with him."

"Go out with him?! I would never. I would rather date a Niffler than him."

"Look, I don't know why you hate him, but I know that he's changed. And I know that he's head over heels in love with you."

"Really? I heard the rumors, but I didn't actually think he liked me like that...maybe I'll reconsider his offer for a date. Only maybe, though. I still haven't forgotten all the times he called me mudblood."

"As long as you're considering it." With that, Reyna departed and headed back to the Slytherins. When she got there, she turned her focus back to the game. The good news was that Daphne, the Seeker, had caught the snitch and Slytherin had won. The bad news was that Ron was ok and not severely injured. Sigh.

Well, you can't get everything you want in life. She thought.
