Author's pov:

*As the first rays of sunlight filtered through the curtains, Martinus with smile opened his eyes, greeted by the soft glow of dawn illuminating the room. Blinking away the remnants of sleep, he stretched his arms above his head and yawned, the excitement of the day ahead slowly creeping into his consciousness.*

*Rolling out of bed, Martinus padded across the room to the window, drawing back the curtains to reveal the breathtaking view of the sun rising over the city skyline.Downstairs in the kitchen, Marcus was already bustling about, preparing breakfast for both of them. The tantalizing aroma of freshly brewed coffee and sizzling bacon filled the air, adding to the sense of anticipation that permeated the room.*

Marcus: (cheerfully) Morning, Martinus. Excited for the Split?

*Martinus nodded, a grin spreading across his face.*

Martinus: Definitely. *he replied, his voice laced with enthusiasm.* I can't wait to see my gi- my friends.

*Marcus eyed him curiously, a knowing glint in his eye.*

Marcus: You seem a bit on edge, Martinus... Are you sure about this?

*Martinus hesitated for a moment, his mind racing with thoughts of the everything and the conversation he had with Marcus the night before.*

Martinus: Absolutely! *he finally answered with conviction.* I just want to go and watch FolkBeat Harmony and support them.

*Marcus arched an eyebrow, a teasing smirk playing at the corners of his lips.*

Marcus: I see. But is that the only reason you're so eager to go?

*Martinus felt his cheeks flush slightly as he caught on to Marcus's playful insinuation.*

Martinus: Bro.. you know, don't even try to say it.

Marcus: (teasingly) Oh, come on. I've seen the way you light up whenever Teodora is mentioned.

Martinus: (blushing slightly) She's just a friend, Marcus.

Marcus: (smiling knowingly) Mhm, right, just a friend. You literally call her Teddy. But, anyway, are you going to make a move or what?

Martinus: (sighing) I don't know, Marcus. I want to, but... What if it ruins our friendship Marcus?

Marcus: (patting his brother's shoulder) You won't know unless you try, Martinus. Besides, you two already have something special. Why not take it to the next level?

*Martinus sighed, his gaze drifting to the floor as he wrestled with his thoughts.*

Martinus: I don't know, Marcus. *he admitted, his voice tinged with uncertainty.* I want to, but... What if it ruins our friendship?

*Marcus placed a comforting hand on his brother's shoulder, offering him a reassuring smile.*

Marcus: You won't know unless you try, Martinus. Besides, you two already have something special. Why not take it to the next level?

Martinus: Let's talk about this in plane, okey?

Marcus: Okey, If you say so.

*Their conversation ended. Some minutes later, they finished breakfast and packed their bags for the flight to Split. As they boarded the plane and settled into their seats, the conversation between Martinus and Marcus continued, spanning everything from the tour schedule to the possibility of Martinus officially starting a relationship with Teodora. Despite his apprehensions, Martinus couldn't shake the feeling of excitement building within him, fueled by the support of his brother and the prospect of the journey ahead.*

Martinus: I just don't want to ruin what we already have, you know? *Martinus confessed, his brow furrowed with uncertainty as he leaned back in his seat.*

*Marcus nodded in understanding, his expression thoughtful.*

Marcus: I get that, Martinus ... If ages are problem- *Martinus cutted him*

Martinus: No, no.. Ages are not the problem.. Or... I don't know. But I will wait for her.

Marcus: Think about it - what if taking that next step actually strengthens your bond with Teodora?

*Martinus considered his brother's words, the wheels turning in his mind as he grappled with the idea.*

Martinus: I guess I've never really thought about it that way.. *he admitted, a hint of doubt creeping into his voice.*

*Marcus reached out a reassuring hand, giving his brother's shoulder a comforting squeeze.*

Marcus: You care about her, bro. And from what I've seen, she cares about you too. Sometimes, taking a risk is worth it if it means pursuing something meaningful.

*The sincerity in Marcus's words resonated with Martinus, stirring a sense of resolve within him.*

Martinus: You're right, Marcus. *he said, his voice infused with determination.* I owe it to myself and to Teodora to at least explore the possibility.

*With that newfound sense of clarity, Martinus felt a weight lift off his shoulders, replaced by a surge of optimism and anticipation for what the future might hold. As the plane continued its journey towards Split, he couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement building within him, fueled by the prospect of taking a leap of faith and pursuing a deeper connection with Teodora.*

*With Marcus's unwavering support by his side, Martinus knew that whatever path he chose to follow, he wouldn't be alone. As they neared their destination, he made a silent promise to himself to seize the moment and embrace the possibilities that awaited him in Split, both on the stage and in matters of the heart.*
