~20.01.2024.~

Author's pov:

*With the necessary permissions secured and the details of their trip ironed out, FolkBeat Harmony dived into intensive rehearsals to perfect the medley for the upcoming Music Festival in Croatia. The excitement in the air was palpable, and each member was eager to showcase the rich tapestry of their musical journey.*

Teodora's Pov:

*The prospect of representing our culture on an international stage filled me with a mix of pride and anticipation. It was more than a performance; it was a celebration of our shared love for music and the diverse traditions that shaped us.*

*One day, as we gathered for a rehearsal, a thought crossed my mind – what if I could share this news with Martinus? He is preparing for "We Are Not The Same" tour in Scandinavia with his brother Marcus, but a part of me longed for his support and encouragement.*

*Taking a deep breath, I decided to call him, unsure of whether he'd even be available. The phone rang, and after a few moments, his voice echoed through the line.*

~On the call~

Teodora: Hey, Marty!

Martinus: (warmly) Tedy! How are you?

Teodora: I'm good, thanks. Listen, I have some exciting news to share.

Martinus: (curious) Oh? Do tell.

Teodora: FolkBeat Harmony has been invited to perform at a Music Festival in Croatia. We're representing our culture, well, part of.

Martinus: (genuinely excited) That's incredible. Congratulations! I'm so happy for you and the group.

Teodora: Thank you! It means a lot. The festival is in Split, and we'll be performing on the 11th of February.

Martinus: (checking his schedule) Ah, that's during my tour. I won't be able to make it to the festival, unfortunately.

Teodora: (slightly disappointed) Oh, that's okay. I understand you have your tour commitments.

Martinus: But you know what? I can try to rearrange my schedule. I might surprise you and make it to the festival.

Teodora: (surprised and touched) Seriously? That would be amazing!

Martinus: Consider it a support mission from your Scandinavian friend.

Teodora: (smiling) I appreciate it, Tinus. Even if you can't make it, knowing you're cheering us on means a lot.

Martinus: I'll do my best. I know you'll rock the festival.

Teodora: Thank you so much. I'll keep you updated. Take care and enjoy practicing for the tour. And greet Marcus from me and the group.

Martinus: I will. Good luck to you and FolkBeat Harmony.

*As the call ended, a surge of gratitude and motivation washed over me. Whether or not Martinus could make it, his words of encouragement fueled our determination to deliver an unforgettable performance at the Music Festival in Croatia. *

Martinus' pov:

*As I hung up the call with Teodora, a lingering sense of excitement and determination filled me. The idea of surprising her at the Music Festival in Croatia took root in my mind. Glancing at the tour schedule, I realized the timing was tight. The festival date clashed with our planned concert, but I couldn't shake off the desire to be there for Teodora and FolkBeat Harmony.*

*Marcus was outside, playing with Tico, our dog, so I decided to go over to them and talk to my brother.*

Me: Hey, Marcus. Got a minute?

Marcus: (casually) Sure, what's up?

Me: I've been thinking about the upcoming concerts, and I... I want to try something a bit unconventional.

Marcus: (raising an eyebrow) Unconventional? You're not planning to fly with a parachute onto the stage, are you?

Me: (laughs) No, nothing like that. It's about rearranging our schedule.

Marcus: (curious) Rearranging? Why? Are you crazy?

Me: There's this Music Festival in Croatia, and FolkBeat Harmony, you know, the group Teodora is part of, got invited to perform. The thing is, the festival date clashes with our planned concert.

Marcus: (thoughtful) So, what are you thinking?

Me: I was hoping we could try to postpone our concert. Just for this once.

Marcus: (surprised) Postpone a concert? You're serious?

Me: (nodding) I am. I know it's unusual, but this festival means a lot to Teodora and the group. I want to be there to support them.

Marcus: (raising an eyebrow) Support? Martinus, is there something you're not telling me?

Me: (pauses) It's... it's because of Teodora. I want to see her perform, and I want to be there for her.

Marcus: (grinning) Ah, so the truth comes out. You have a soft spot for Teodora, don't you?

Me: (blushing slightly) Yeah, I do. I... I like her, Marcus.

Marcus: (teasing) Well, well, well. The great Martinus Gunnarsen is smitten.

Me: (defensive) It's not like that. I just... I care about her. And besides, it's not only for her. It's also for me.

Marcus: (raising an eyebrow) For you? Care to explain?

Me: (pauses) You know, Marcus, sometimes we get so caught up in the whirlwind of tours and concerts that we forget why we started making music in the first place. This festival, this performance, it's a reminder of the pure joy and passion that brought us here. And I want to experience that again, not just as an artist but as a music lover. It's for me, for the love of music.

Marcus: (smirking) Well, if that's the case, who am I to stand in the way of love and music? Let's see if we can work some magic with the schedule.

Me: (grateful) Thanks, Marcus. I appreciate it.

*Whether or not the schedule could be rearranged, one thing was clear – I was determined to be there for Teodora and FolkBeat Harmony. Love, music, and the pursuit of joy were guiding me on a path that felt right, even if it meant bending the usual rules of our tour schedule...I sincerely hope that it is possible to move the date for the concert or... to postpone it...*
