Teodora's pov:
*Instead of heading to school like usual, I found herself at home, surrounded by the remnants of my life in Serbia. Since we are moving to Trondheim in only 2 days, we called a moving truck to take everything there and set it up. They will carry everything, starting from furniture, televisions to clothes. All this is already in boxes and suitcases. Of course, we will take some personal items with us when we leave, such as laptops, personal hygiene items, passports, etc. Boxes and suitcases cluttered the living room, waiting to be filled with memories and belongings. We were waiting for moving truck to come here. In two days we are leaving... I moved with purpose, my movements fueled by a mix of anticipation and sadness. I carefully sorted through my possessions, deciding what to pack and what to leave behind. Each item held a story, a reminder of the life I was leaving behind as I embarked on a new chapter in Norway.*
*As I found myself engulfed in a whirlwind of emotions, the weight of impending change crashing down on me, my phone rang, disrupting the silence of my tear-filled moment. With trembling hands, I reached for the phone, my heart pounding in my chest as I saw Tinus's name illuminated on the screen.*
Me: Hey Tinus.. *I murmured, my tone laced with vulnerability.*
Martinus: Hey, Teddy, are you okay? *Martinus's concerned voice floated through the line, instantly soothing her frayed nerves.*
*I struggled to compose myself, the tears still lingering in my eyes.*
Me: I... I'm just feeling a bit overwhelmed. *I admitted, my voice catching in my throat.*
*Martinus's tone softened with empathy.*
Martinus: I understand, Teddy.. But remember, we're in this together, okay? You're not alone. When you come here, I will give you a big hug and very, very sweet kiss..
*His words were like a lifeline, offering reassurance in the midst of uncertainty. I felt a surge of gratitude for his unwavering support, despite the miles that separated us.*
Me: Thank you Tinus, that's what I needed to hear now..
*We talked for a while longer, Martinus's comforting words providing a much-needed anchor in the storm of my emotions. As the conversation drew to a close, I felt a sense of calm settle over me, knowing that no matter where life took me, Martinus would always be there, a constant source of strength and support.*
*By the time the moving truck arrived, the sun was beginning to set. I stood in the doorway, watching as the movers unloaded boxes and furniture with practiced efficiency. It was a surreal moment, the culmination of weeks of preparation and anticipation. As the last box was loaded onto the truck, I felt a pang of sadness wash over her. Saying goodbye to home, my friends, and the familiarity of my surroundings was not easy. Yet, amidst the melancholy, there was also excitement for the adventure that awaited me in Norway.*
