People counted me out, so I put passion in every word that I wrote
I never picked my battles. It was me versus the world, but still, I fought
I picked up everyone's criticism and attention, but my dad's respect is the only thing I'm happy I caught
I've seen people get expensive jewelery from icebox, a box full of wisdom was all I bought
Who knows, maybe one day I'll cruise in the Maldeaves in my boat
Or maybe I'll be sitting in my parents' house at noon eating a bowl of oat
Maybe I'll be flying to Le France to model an expensive fur coat
Or maybe I'll be sitting on a dusty bench applying for a job and writing on a note
My teacher of English told me I should always be confident and say what I feel with an assertive voice
I play with my words and rhymes. I guess I never got enough of toys
My pain and stories are a phantom, and no, I don't mean a Royce
You would've understood the Rolls' vocabulary, but you're too busy on your X stalking the 6'5 "boys
I'm a different man. I move with a different motto
Let me tell you what happens when your poor friend wins the lotto
He was your best mate, but when you meet him in his Prada suit, he'll charge you for a photo

I like doing things myself. I hope I never use the phrase "How much do I owe"
I'll never steal or sell weed. I hope I never stoop that low
I like taking risks. I'll always shoot and aim just like men in the world war with their cross and bow
I hope one day the kid who called me names will see me drive past him and drop his jaw
I'm good enough with my creativity, but with my investments is where I've got a brilliant mind
