She headed off in the direction of the thug that she and Shoto had spotted talking to their target. She watched him turn off into a bar at the end of the street, so she entered the establishment shortly after he did.
She took a seat at the bar where she could see the guy sitting in the corner. He ordered a drink, and she did too--not wanting to look too out of place. She sipped on hers for several minutes, not ingesting too much, but she waited until the guy had downed several before heading over to the table.
Leaning against the table, she pushed her sunglasses down to the end of her nose and flashed her eyes at him. "Is this seat taken?" She placed her hand on the table opposite the stranger.
"What's a beautiful thing like you doing in a place like this?" He asked. His voice was low and gravelly, and she could already see his face warming from the looks she gave him. She hated doing this, but it was the easiest way to get what she wanted.
"Same as you, I suppose," she said, sliding into the booth across from him. She gingerly set her drink down on the table after taking a long sip. His eyes were completely fixed on her as she dragged her tongue against her bottom lip slowly, catching the stray drops of the beverage. Folding her arms on the surface of the table, she shoved them under her chest, accentuating her assets. It seemed to be working--the thug couldn't keep his eyes off of her. She'd banked on him being a total perv, and it seemed that she was right. She picked her beverage up off the table and finished off the contents of the glass, setting it down on the table with a light thud.
"Can I get you another one?" He asked quickly.
"If you insist," she smiled. The guy called over the waiter, who dropped off another round shortly after.
"What's your name, beautiful?" He asked, his voice low.
"You can just call me Mei," she said, wrapping her hands gently around the glass. She ran the tips of her fingers over the rim of the glass slowly, and the man seemed to be mesmerized. "And what can I call you?"
"The name's Soto," he replied, downing most of his drink. The man was visibly tipsy, which would make this so much easier for Katsumi.
"I had a question to ask you," she said, cutting right to the chase. "You seem like someone a girl can trust, right?"
"You can ask me anything, Babydoll," he grinned.
"I might have overheard you and that other guy earlier, and I have to say, I'm kind of intrigued in what he was offering," she said. He cocked an eyebrow at her, but he didn't seem too suspicious of her. Crazy what a pair of tits could do to a guy.
"Oh, you heard that?" he said, scratching his head. "I'm not really supposed to be talking about that if you get me. Not really something they want getting out, especially after what happened a few years ago."
"Oh, I know, but that's why I came to you," she stated. "It can be so hard to find like-minded people, but when I saw you, I just knew. I'm just a girl, you know? It's not safe for me to be out all on my own with all those heroes running things the way they are and it seems like something I can get behind. A big, strong man like you can understand that, right?"
"I catch your drift," he said, taking another drink. "If I tell you the place, you have to promise not to invite anyone else. And you can't tell them I sent you, got that?"
"Oh, I won't. You can trust me." Katsumi rested her hand on his, and he lit up, puffing his chest. This was a lot easier than she thought it would be. All she had to do was flirt with the guy.
Katsumi opened her phone and quickly made a new profile on one of those messaging apps, getting a bogus number before letting him send her the location.
