CW: This chapter is pretty long; I'm sorry about that! It is also pretty much entirely porn with a hint of plot.

Shoto groaned as he pulled himself out of bed the following day. Checking the time on his phone, he noted that it was nine a.m., which was far later than he normally rose. The sun shone through his window, warming the air in the bedroom as he stood up to stretch. As he raised his arms above his head, he recalled the events from the previous night.
He had kissed Katsumi. His cheeks blushed at the thought, though he didn't know why he felt so shy. While dating wasn't something he usually did, that hadn't stopped him from seeing women in the past--so he didn't know why he was feeling so giddy after a single kiss. Just thinking about it made his heart race and the left side of his body heated up past its normal resting temperature. Pinching the bridge of his nose, he tried to clear his head and think about what he had to do that day.
While it was a Saturday, he still needed to make a quick trip to the agency and finish some paperwork he was behind on; then there was grocery shopping, working out, and a few other things. At the moment, he didn't feel like he had the energy to do any of it.
Heading to the bathroom, he quickly checked his phone for messages or missed calls. Seeing that he didn't have any, he continued his morning routine before heading out the door to his car to head to his agency.
Once there, he sat down at his desk and got to work. Not long into the process, a notification popped up on his phone. Picking it up, he saw that it was Uraraka. As he read the text, he pinched his eyebrows together.
'Did Katsumi go home with you last night?' Uraraka had sent.
'No. She took a rideshare to her own apartment,' Shoto replied. He wondered what had brought her to ask this question and immediately started to panic slightly, wondering if Katsumi was okay. Maybe she hadn't made it home. Perhaps he should have called her to ensure she made it home alright.
'Weird. She's not responding to my texts or calls. Can you call her? Lmk what you find out.'
Shoto quickly texted back that he would before dialing Katsumi and putting his phone up to his ear. The phone rang several times before going to her voicemail.
In his head, several thoughts were running around, each one more terrible than the last. Realistically, maybe she forgot to charge her phone and hasn't yet woken up. It's only ten thirty. Perhaps that's the case. It most likely was.
But he called her again, and it went to voicemail again. He didn't stop himself when he grabbed his keys and left his office.
Driving to her apartment, he gripped the steering wheel with white knuckles. The traffic was a little wrong, making the trip take much longer than he wanted to. About halfway there, he grabbed his phone again and called her. Still, no response. He didn't know why he was panicking so much or why his heart was racing in his chest—all he knew was that he needed to see her and make sure she was okay. That was the only thing on his mind right now.

Katsumi woke up to the sound of someone beating on her front door. She glared at the light when she opened her eyes for the first time, groaning as she pulled herself from the sheets tangled around her feet as she slept. As she passed by the mirror in her room, she looked an absolute mess. Her hair was sticking up in every direction, and her long, black t-shirt hung awkwardly on her frame. It was whatever, though--she was just annoyed that she had to answer the door first thing in the morning.
She groggily padded across the living room, annoyed that the person was still beating on the door. She was on her way already, and it was way too loud. Opening the door revealed a rather distraught-looking Shoto. His face held an expression she hadn't seen on it in a long time; it was one full of worry. After staring at each other for a second, she suddenly became aware of how awful she must look to him, and she felt embarrassed. Katsumi debated slamming the door back shut but didn't.
