"Hey, how are you doing?" Amber walked in her room the next day. "Pretty good. But they're giving me less drugs, so that sucks." Amber chuckled.

"Someone tried to kill Sam yesterday." Amber said. "What? How did Ghostface get into the hospital?" She panicked. "I don't know. But you're safe. Trust me."

"How can you know?" She looked at her like she had already lost hope to survive this. "We fought back and survived. So, he's probably angry. At us. So he's just gonna walk back in and finish us."

"Don't say that. Please. The sheriff said she'll move you to a private floor and put more cops on yours and Tara's room." Max nodded. "Okay."

"I have to go home, but I'll call you later." Max nodded. "Bye."

-

The two girlfriends watched the tv, until a weird sound distrupted them. "Hello?" Tara called out. No answer. "Hello?" She called out again. Still no answer. "Fuck this." Max said and they ripped the tubes out of their noses.

The blonde helped her into the wheelchair and wheeled her to the hallway. The lights suddenly went off. Max didn't like this. Tara's phone started ringing, scaring them both, but they ignored it.

They stopped and peeked around a corner, just to find a dead cop. Tara's hand went to her mouth and Max wanted to scream. "Fuck." She whispered and looked for his gun, but it wasn't there anymore.

They quickly hid in a room and waited for Ghostface to come to them. Max picked up a phone that hanged from the wall to protect herself and her girlfriend. Tara kept sobbing and Max cried too, she just tried to be silent.

The door opened and Max immediately hitted the person in the head with the phone. "Goddamn it." It was Richie. He held his head, that was in a lot of pain from the phone. "Sorry."

"Richie?" Tara asked. "What are you doing here?" Max asked.  "Sam called. She said, that you're in trouble. Did you hit me with the phone?" He asked, but before any of them could say anything else, Ghostface appeared right behind him. "Watch out!"

The person in the mask slashed Richie's arm and tried to stab him, but he held their hand, so Ghostface threw him in the wall. Max pushed a heartbeat monitor at Ghostface and helped Tara wheel her out.

Ghostface recovered quickly and picked up Richie's ringing phone. "Hello, Samantha." he spoke. "Richie can't come to the phone right now. He's finding out what happens to people, who stick their nose into bussines, that doesn't concern them."

"I'll tell you what, you can choose. I'll only kill two. Who do you want to hear dying?" Ghostface got closer to them. "Really? You can't save your own sister? All you have to say is 'kill Richie and Max'"

Ghostface than stabbed Max in her shoulder. She screamed and fell to the ground. "Max!" Tara looked behind her. "Go!" Tara looked at her, but nodded and tried to wheel herself out. She whimpered as the wound in her hand reopened.

Ghostface catched up to Tara and pushed her out of the wheelchair. The two tried to crawl towards the elevator and Ghostface towered over Tara. "Last chance to save one. Choose!"

"You wanna know why, Sam? Maybe it's because you're a selfish bitch, who can't even make the decision to save the life of someone you love. Maybe you're too weak for this franchize." He raised his knife and Max cried.

She  thought she was about to witness her lover's death, but her eyes were filled with the sound of gunshots and Ghostface hid in another room.

Sam ran to the two and Dewey helped Richie up. Sam helped them walk towards the elevator, but Ghostface jumped at Dewey. He reacted fast and got Ghostface off himself and shot him in the chest.

They made it to the elevator, but Dewey stopped the door. "You have to always shoot them in the head, or they come back." He left the elevator. "Dewey, who gives a fuck?" Sam called after him. "I do."

-

"Max!" She turned around and saw her sister running to her. "Hey." She looked at the floor. "Hey. I talked to mom and dad, I'm gonna take you home."

"What? Really?" She nodded. "Yeah. We don't trust the hospital anymore to keep you safe, so you can come home."
