Kenori would prefer her bed over anything but after a specific outing with a specific boy it was hard to stop people from making it to her. Period.

"Kenni, tell us everything." Dani tried to persuade as her and Shae sat on the edge of her bed.

"Nothing. It was nothing, I wish y'all would leave me the hell alone." Kenori spoke with a fake smile, after the intended shoo away.

"Are you sure? Meechie told me y'all had a good time, at least that's what he said Mekhi said." Dani repeated what she was told to the both of them.

"He's a liar. Mekhi told him that to get him to mind his business, I know this because we were on the phone when he asked." Kenori rolled her eyes.

"Since when do you be on the phone?" Shae asked, raising an eyebrow as she sat up from laying on her stomach.

"Since he called? Shae stop trying to catch me in a situation that isn't there." Kenori spat at her best friend, "I don't have anything going on with him." Kenori shook her head at the fact that she even had to say that.

"Okay, Okay. Fine. I won't say nothing else about it." Shae stated, clearly making Kenori sigh of relief ,"After today." Shae made Kenori and Dani look at her. Only difference was Dani thought Marshala was hilarious.

"Shae, why are you all of a sudden so interested in him?" Kenori asked about Mekhi.

"Because, maybe you should see where I'm coming from, Kenori. You and Mekhi are like, so cute together,  and you guys compliment each other so well and in just this time that we've had to know them,  y'all just make sense, if that makes sense."  Shae tried to explain, and Kenori tried her best to understand.

"Shae we've barely known eachother. Okay, maybe try some time after we knew eachother before saying we would look good together. Plus, I don't do relationships, but if considering it is enough for you, sure. Even though my answer is no." Kenori informed Shae.

"That's understandable, I was going to say she was right." Dani pointed at Shae.

"Dani you're like so in love with Messiah, and here you are talking about me about something I don't desire." Kenori stated, adding a spooky voice effect to seem more dramatic.

"I am not, plus this isn't about me." Dani scoffed, getting off of the bed making Kenori and Shae laugh.

"My birthday is coming up in February, then Meech's in March, Khi's in July, Nino's in November, and when's yours?" Dani asked Shae, changing the subject off of her as she pointed at Shae, "Oh, November twenty first." Shae answered, making Dani gasp in shock.

"Oh my god! That means your birthday is in like two days?!" Dani exclaimed in shock making Shae and Kenori eye eachother and then look back at the shocked Danielle.

"Yes, Danielle." Marshala answered, calling Dani by her real name. "I haven't had time to get you a gift? Plus Nasir's is like two days after yours." Dani pulled out her phone and started typing.

"Do y'all not talk about your birthdays?" Dani asked dryly making the girls look at her sideways.

"I mean, not really. We know eachother's, so what's the point of parading it?" Kenori asked, making Shae hum in response.
