Sadiya huffed out in annoyance as she sent yet another message to Nino, that barely sent before it showed the red error icon and 'Not Delivered'.
"What's wrong with you?" Brooklyn snapped Sadiya out of her thoughts, making her look up at the group of four girls looking at her.
"Uh," She cleared her throat, closing her phone and sitting back,"Nothing, just thinking."
It was partially the truth. Not like she had to tell them everything on everything.
"Don't tell me that nigga still ignoring you?" Nyema chimed in, making all the girls' eyes shift to her, including Sadiya's.
"What nigga?" Mariah asked, looking suspiciously at Sadiya.
"I forgot his name, she told me that after they fucked he hasn't talked to her since." Nyema spilled with no remorse, finishing it off by popping some fries into her mouth. Sadiya felt embarrassed, she wanted to sink into her seat. She felt stupid for even thinking Nyema was somebody to talk to—but she was desperate so she was partially at fault too.
"Damn, Sade? Niggas doing you like that?" Takyla chimed in, asking in a sarcastic tone. "You must don't know how to fuck."
"For-real, every nigga I fucked always come back." Mariah stated, making the girls snicker—everyone except her, again.
"I don't just fuck on people, and I want to tell him that. Its just—"
"Girl, you should definitely find his ass and cuss him out. That's just what I would do." Nyema pondered, cutting Sade off, resulting in Takyla nodding in agreement.
"If you do that, you'll embarrass yourself." Brooklyn remarked at Sadiya, making sure she was looking at her. "It's like with me and Marlo."
Marlo was Brooklyn's boyfriend, one of her many, but he was her favorite. The whole group of girls were as ran through as towels at a pool—minus Sadiya of course. She could barely get a boyfriend, keep one, or turn on any existence of a man—besides Nino. At least that's what she thought.
"You still talk to him? I thought he talked to Shae?" Mariah questioned, starting to sip out of the straw in her drink.
Another thing about Sadiya's wonderful friends, they hated Marshala Johnson. Sadiya didn't know why, but she did know why Shae didn't like them. It was reasonable. She just hated how because she hung around them, Shae resented her too. She had nothing to do with it, it's not her fault they came to her and wanted to be friends. It's not like she had any of those either, so when it was offered she took it.
The rivalry between the group and Shae was almost never ending, since Brooklyn couldn't get over it. She wanted to hurt Shae in the worst ways possible, starting with her boyfriends—but honestly Sadiya didn't think it hurt Marshala that much.
"No, that's my man. She just there when I'm not." Brooklyn called, now beginning to slurp her milkshake.
Sadiya hummed in response, she had common sense to not respond. She never said anything when it came to these discussions. Right now she had her own problems to worry about.
