I sat on my bed playing project Sekai
The conversation me and Aether had was playing on loop in my head but mainly I had one question
Did Xiao really have a girlfriend?
He didn't seem like the kind of guy to have one.
Not to mention he was always at the house. There was no time for him to be with his girlfriend
He also isn't the kind of dude who is always texting on his phone, yeah he's on it a lot but he's obviously scrolling and not texting.
Suddenly I felt a pat on my head
I looked up and saw Xiao standing over me smiling
He grabbed my hand and gave it a kiss before sitting down next to me
I felt my face blush but I pushed away the feeling. Remember he's a cheater.
"How are you Ven?" He asked me
"Oh uh- Im fine" I replied back
"So about last night I-" Xiao started
"What about it? It's not like anything happened" I cut him off. I couldn't let him talk about it I had to pretend like I didn't know what we did
"I wouldn't really call that nothing." Xiao said looking at me confused
"What do you mean? We ate dinner then came up here had some drinks then went to sleep. That was all" I looked at him acting confused
Him face showed no emotion but his eyes showed sadness a lot of sadness.
"Ven that's not all we did-" He reached out to touch my neck where there was a obvious hickey
I flinched when he went to touch it and his sadness only deepened along with a layer of confusion
"What else would we have done? Did we play a game or something?" I said acting clueless
This hurt. I dont know why. Every lie I said, every hint of sadness behind his eyes hurt me. It felt like someone was reaching in and grabbing my heart it hurt.
Xiao stopped responding he just looked at me
I looked down at his hands and saw a plastic bag. Did he buy something?
"Whats in the bag?" I asked him
His face lightened a bit as he opened it
"Oh it's something for you!" He said I saw the joy return to his eyes
He reached into the bag and pulled out a pink and white necklace with a bunny charm on it. The bunny had the letters N and J on it.
He took the necklace off the backing and went to put it on me
His arms wrapped around my neck and I once again felt myself blushing
He put the necklace on and pulled back looking at me
He smiled a bit then reached in the back and took out another necklace. This one was pink and black he then put it on himself
"I haven't really found anyone who hasn't made fun of me for listening to k-pop. So I thought I would get us matching necklaces" Xiao said a small smile on his face
I reached down touching my necklace and looking at it
"Thank you.. its beautiful" I said
"Do you want to go get dinner? Maybe we can get you some stuff to decorate your side of the room as well" Xiao said
