Bomika One-Shots

Summer Break

Bose's POV:

There were only three minutes of class, and everyone was looking at the clock, ready to get out of this building. I was so ready, too. I've been waiting so long for summer break to get here, and I wanted to enjoy it as much as possible.

3...2...1...

The bell finally rings, and all of us rush out the door, not even caring that any of us were running in the hallways, not that it matters because school is done for the summer. As the front doors opened, I felt that nice summer breeze hit my face, and I felt free.

Mika's POV:

School is now over for the summer, which is a little sad, considering that I love to learn, but even smart people like me need a break from school every so often.

I didn't really have any plans for summer break, but I did want to enjoy it as much as possible. There was a nice little breeze outside, and everything was so...perfect.

Suddenly, we got a call to get to the Man's Nest as quickly as possible. This better actually be important, and not because Ray wants to tell us about a dream he had.

Once we were all gathered to the Man's Nest, Ray came in.

Ray: "Good, you're all here."

Chapa: "What is it this time, dude?"

Ray: "Well, if you must know-"

Just then, the crime alert went off. I ran over to the computer to check it out.

Me: "Looks like The Toddler is trying to take over Swellview Park."

Miles: "What a great way to start our summer vacation."

Bose: "Not."

All of us change into our super suits, and Miles teleports us to the park. When we get there, The Toddler has two new goons with him.

The Toddler: "Well, well, well, not sorry to put a hold on any plans you probably had, but we ain't leaving this time."

Volt: "You will if we make you."

Captain Man: "Get them!"

Bose's POV:

This is not how I wanted to start my summer break. I wanted to actually have some fun, not fight bad guys in the heat. But we got to what we got to do, I guess.

As I'm using my powers, the flying objects hurdle towards the two big dudes, and they drop to the ground instantly. I go join the others in fighting The Toddler.

Mika's POV:

This was not a great day for fighting crime. It's too hot, and summer break only just started. I feel myself start to sweat a little bit, and pretty soon, I was out of breath.

The last thing I remember was feeling a little dizzy, my vision was blurry, and soon, I blacked out.

Bose's POV:

As we were fighting The Toddler, I noticed Mika looking a little tired. I think the heat was getting to her, and suddenly, she collapsed. It was a good thing I was able to catch her before she hit the ground.

Everyone else saw what happened, and we looked for a spot that no sun on it. Once we did, we set Mika down gently while Captain Man continued to fight and take down The Toddler, and had Miles take him to jail.

Then, I saw Mika's eyes slowly start to open, so I told Miles to quickly teleport to the Man's Nest to get some water and come back. He was gone and back in 5 seconds.

Mika: "B-Bose, is that you?"

Me: "Yeah, it's me, I'm here."

I slowly pull Mika into a hug to assure her that she was alright, and she slowly hugged back. I signaled over to Miles to hand me the water, and he did, so I gave it to Mika.

Once she started to drink it, she was feeling much better.

Mika: "Ah, that feels so much better."

Me: "I'm glad."

Mika: "Wait, what about The Toddler?"

Me: "Oh, he's gone now, we took care of him."

Mika: "Good, we should probably head back to the Man's Nest now."

Me: "Are you able to stand?"

Mika: "I got this."

Mika's able to get up without falling over, and when she does, Miles teleports us back to the Man's Nest. Once there, we change back to our normal clothes.

Ray: "Alright, now that we're all back here, I can finally tell you about my latest dream."

All: "Nope!"

We weren't going to deal with this again, so we all got up and left, leaving Ray alone in the room.

Chapa: "Why did I have a feeling he was going to share another dream he had?"

Miles: "He always does this, and he always says it's 'important.'"

Me: "That dude barely has a brain, he's like me."

Mika: "Actually, you might have more of a brain than Ray does."

Me: "Yeah, I guess you're right."

Chapa: "Well, I'm going home."

Miles: "Same."

Chapa and Miles exit.

Me: "Well, I guess I should head home, too. You want to join me?"

Mika: "Yeah, sure."

Me: "Awesome, we can find something cool to do together."

Mika's POV:

As Bose and I are walking to his house, I'm almost completely mesmerized by him; he's so cute. He could definitely make this vacation better.

When we got to his house, we went up to his room. Thank God it was cool in here and not like it was outside. I still went to lie down on the bed, though, I was still a bit tired, and Bose lied down next to me. For the moment, we stare at each other while smiling.

Me: "I'm happy that you're here with me."

Bose: "I'm happy you're here with me, too."

Me: "This summer is going to be so amazing."

Bose: "It definitely will be."

As Bose and I got closer and closer, we kissed. As we were kissing, we knew we would have the best summer break of our lives.
