Don't Go In There! (Remake)

Bose's POV:

I'm too lazy to go into detail, but the four of us decided to teach Ray a little lesson for forbidding us from opening this new door in the Man's Nest. Miles texted his cardboard box guy, Harlito, to set up this little prank.

The next day, the prank was all set. I'm not gonna bother explaining because again, I'm too lazy, but I will say this: when all of us showed up to the Man's Nest the next day, we had a plan to pull the same moves that Ray did on us, starting with the robes, like the one that Ray had on his stupid pre-recorded message screen.

I'll spare you the details on that, too, but in that moment, I had to get one thing out of the way first. Mika had on a really beautiful outfit, and I could not wait to compliment it. I was even more eager because it was Mika's outfit.

Truth is, I have had a bit of a crush on her for some time, and I didn't know how to tell her without sounding even more stupid than I already am. The eagerness was starting to build up more and more, but for some reason, I couldn't get my words out, so I ended up saying nothing and started the plan with everyone else.

Once we were done, we were outside of the Man's Nest doors, watching to see if Ray would take the bait, but he didn't. Fucking hell, I knew that we shouldn't have rented these robes. However, he came back about a minute later. He tried to resist, but he ended up taking the bait, which caused a new problem.

Earlier, I had filled a box with everything from The Shelf of Gross Stuff, including tears from the Jolly Beetle. I was originally supposed to put just Schwoz's gross cologne in the boxy woxy boof charge, but my half-a-brain made me alter the prank to far worse.

We ended up having to find the antidote for Ray before things got really bad. It was inside the new room, and he gave us the key. We all went down there as fast as possible.

Me: "Imagine if we opened the door, and there was just a shelf...filled with books. Can you imagine?"

Mika: "Honey, that's called a Library."

Me: "Oh...really? Well, now I know. Thanks, Mika."

Mika: "You're welcome."

Mika smiled at me when she said that. I had a feeling she kind of liked me, too, but I still wasn't sure.

Mika's POV:

It was a difficult job, but we had managed to get the antidote for Ray. When we brought it back up to him, he was cured. We wanted him to explain the new room, and he said he was afraid that he'd mess something up in his relationship with Credenza, and he wanted to make sure everything would go smoothly.

Bose told him that he should read his book, which was titled "Just Be Your Handsome Normal Self and Everyone Will Like You." Ray realized that he was handsome, and everyone does like him. I smiled at Bose for how fast the book worked, and I saw that he smiled back.

I've never told anyone this, but I've liked Bose for quite a while, and it's been on the tip of my tongue to tell him how I felt, but it never actually happens. I even decided to wear this outfit I have on right now to see if Bose would notice.

I think he has noticed, but he's probably as nervous as I am to tell me, which I can totally understand. At that point, Schwoz called us outside to check out the evil device that Schwoz built. I was nervous to see what it would do, but I headed outside with everyone, anyway.

Schwoz: "Okay, is everyone ready?"

Me: "Yeah, uh, real quick, could we maybe not turn on the evil machine?"
