bottom!San
Top!Wooyoung.
Wooyoung is not a romantic husband.
Although San secretly wishes to be pampered like his friends who often share stories about how their husbands treat them. It makes him feel jealous and envious.
Tomorrow is their third wedding anniversary, and Wooyoung hasn't mentioned anything about this special day. After returning from work, he just showers, has dinner with San who prepared it as usual, and then excuses himself to go to bed early. San can't help but feel annoyed.
But in the end, he also lies down next to his husband to join him in the realm of dreams. No cuddling, even though he usually likes to rest on Wooyoung's chest. But tonight, he's exceptionally irritated.
The next morning, Wooyoung wakes up to the delightful aroma of San's cooking. San, still wearing an apron, enters the room to wake up his husband.
"Are you awake, dear? Let's have breakfast."
Wooyoung smiles and nods, "Okay."
"Oh, by the way, do you remember what day it is today?"
"Of course."
"Oh yeah? Try to guess."
"It's our wedding anniversary, right?"
San is a bit surprised; it turns out Wooyoung remembers.
"So, why were you so quiet about it yesterday? It's not like nothing special happened." San pouts.
"Well, technically, the anniversary is today, not yesterday," Wooyoung walks to the closet, takes a large-sized paper bag, and hands it to his spouse, saying, "Here, for you."
"Wow, what's this?" San's face lights up as he digs into the bag and reveals its contents. His expression changes to a flat one. "A dog plushie?"
Wooyoung has always given him that since their dating days.
"It's not just any dog."
"Then what is it? You've always given me a stuffed animal like this."
"It's different. Before, I gave you a Shiba Inu; this time, it's a Welsh Corgi. You don't have one yet, right?"
"W-Well, yes, but..." San is disappointed. He thought for this anniversary, the gift would be different. Why couldn't Wooyoung try something more special? Typical, his husband is not sensitive. It's no different from a regular anniversary during their dating days.
"Do you like it?"
San forces a smile, "Yes, dear. Thank you." He tries to think positively; at least Wooyoung remembered the date and made an effort to give a gift.
"Will you come home early tonight?" San asks hopefully.
"Not too early, probably just the usual time. And that's if there's no overtime until late."
San's energy drains hearing that.
Seems like he can only resign himself in the end. After breakfast and getting ready, Wooyoung heads to the office.
San thinks, okay, maybe this morning Wooyoung still irritates him like yesterday. But he still wants to make an effort to melt him and make him realize. So it won't be like this every year.
