Mingi really loves poking Yunho's nose.

Whether Yunho is reading a book, playing with his phone, or sleeping, Mingi loves poking his boyfriend's nose. It's almost like a fetish for him. He says Yunho's nose is cute and squishy, which makes him feel affectionate. No matter how often Mingi pokes Yunho, even when Yunho is deeply focused, Yunho never gets angry.

Actually, Mingi's intention is sort of like giving a hint. He wants Yunho to reciprocate. Or do something that shows his affection and attention. And also, so Yunho would compliment Mingi back.

"Why?"

Yunho chuckles softly. He finds it cute when Mingi sulks. "Okay okay, sorry. So did you respond to those bullies?"

"Of course. I responded immediately and left because I didn't want to hear their further insults." Mingi rants without looking at his interlocutor's face.

Then Yunho pokes Mingi's nose. Mingi pauses for a moment to digest what just happened. Something he had been waiting for. Something unexpected. And he doesn't care anymore. But in the end, it happens. Then after regaining his consciousness, he looks at Yunho who smiles at him.

"What part of you is ugly? I wonder, how can there still be people with no taste who dare to call someone as beautiful as you ugly."

"I know I'm ugly. I'm not as handsome as you, who are called boyfriend material by flirty girls at school. But I tried to dress up to hide my flaws. But apparently, I'm too ugly that it's still visible and eventually I'm still called ugly."

"Why are you suddenly insecure? You're usually so confident. It's not right, they insulted you until you're like this." Yunho sees Mingi not answering and again not looking at him. Mingi's eyes are teary because he still remembers the insults he received.

"Sweetheart?"

Still ignored.

Yunho smiles softly and pokes Mingi's nose again. Only after being poked, Mingi finally looks at Yunho.

"You're not ugly, seriously."

"But I'm not as handsome as you, right? You admit it too, don't you?"

"So what? I don't care."

Mingi is puzzled whether to perceive Yunho's words as praise or not, because it means Yunho will always accept Mingi as he is with all his flaws. But if so, indirectly Yunho agrees that Mingi is not more handsome than Yunho.

Mingi doesn't have time to answer because he's interrupted by his own laughter when Yunho repeatedly kisses his cheek while hugging his waist.

The next day, the kids who used to bother Mingi find their motorcycle's tires all deflated in the school parking lot. So they can't go home.
