Jimin opens the door to the balcony and takes a few steps forward. Yoongi follows Jimin and takes a deep breath.

Jimin looks at nowhere in particular and asks, 'What do you wanna talk about?'

Yoongi asks, 'What happened to you?'
Jimin answers, 'It's not your business, Yoongi.'
Yoongi says, 'No... I mean, you weren't like this.'
Jimin says, 'Of course. I wasn't like this. My vision was fine with the glasses.'
Yoongi says, 'No, Jimin. I'm not talking about your eyes.'

Jimin frowns in response.

Yoongi asks, 'Why are you talking to me as if you hate me?'
Jimin answers, 'I... I don't hate you, Yoongi.'
Yoongi says, 'Things have changed, I suppose.'
Jimin says, 'Of course. I'm not the same person anymore.'

Yoongi presses his lips tight and stares at Jimin.

Jimin stares at nowhere in particular.

Yoongi asks, 'Can I get your number?'
Jimin answers, 'I haven't changed my number yet.'
Yoongi asks, 'How come I never got to contact you?'
Jimin asks, 'Did you try contacting me?'
Yoongi asks, 'How can I not?'

Jimin does not respond.

Yoongi inhales deeply and continues, 'Will you answer my calls from now on?'

Jimin answers, 'Things change, Yoongi. Nothing is the same anymore.'
Yoongi says, 'Let's forget that we were friends in university. Let's talk as neighbours.'

Jimin does not respond.

Yoongi asks, 'Would you?'
Jimin asks, 'Don't you have a boyfriend? Or a girlfriend?'
Yoongi answers, 'No.'
Jimin asks, 'How come?'
Yoongi answers, 'I couldn't bring myself to date someone else.'
Jimin asks, 'What do you mean by "someone else"?'

Yoongi answers, 'Nothing. Forget it.'
Jimin says, 'Okay.'
Yoongi says, 'I should go.'
Jimin says, 'All right.'
Yoongi says, 'Then... I'll see you later, maybe.'
Jimin says, 'Aye.'

Yoongi walks off leaving Jimin alone.

Quite soon, Yoongi is sitting on the couch with his parents. Jimin is sitting in front of Yoongi—both of them look lost in their thoughts.

Mrs Min says, 'Jimin is such a sweetheart... Aren't you, Jimin?'

Jimin flinches and smiles awkwardly in response.

Mrs Min asks, 'What's your favourite dessert?'
Mrs Park says, 'She's talking to you, Jimin.'
Jimin answers, 'Uh... I like muffins... And biscuits.'
Mrs Min says, 'I'll make sure to share it with you when I bake some.'
Jimin says, 'That'd be great, Mrs Min. Thank you.'

Mrs Min says, 'Oh, call me Aunt Min. I'd love to hear that from you.'
Jimin says, 'Sure... Aunt Min.'
Mr Min says, 'Since Yoongi and Jimin know each other already, things will be easier.'
Yoongi asks, 'What do you mean, Dad?'
Mr Min asks, 'Didn't you say that you didn't wanna have neighbours?'

Yoongi clears his throat and answers, 'Nothing like that.'

Mrs Min says, 'Mr Park and his family are good people. It's great having them as our neighbours.'
Mr Min says, 'Oh, I agree with that.'
Mrs Park says, 'You're being too sweet to us.'
Mrs Min says, 'We're just saying the truth, Ji-Yeon.'

Mrs Park chuckles softly in response.

Shortly, Yoongi and his parents step out of Jimin's house. They walk to their house and step in.

Mrs Min closes the door and asks, 'Is something wrong, Yoongi?'

Yoongi answers, 'Nope.' and sits on the couch.

Mr Min says, 'Bring me a cup of coffee.'
Mrs Min says, 'All right.'
Yoongi says, 'I want one, too.'
Mrs Min says, 'Sure.'

Mrs Min walks off to the kitchen and Mr Min sits on the couch in front of Yoongi.

Yoongi opens his chat with Jimin and types a text—"Hi, Jimin". He thinks for a moment and deletes the typed text. He sighs heavily and slides his phone into his pocket.

Mr Min asks, 'Is something wrong?'
Yoongi answers, 'Nope.'

Mrs Min walks into the living room with three cups of coffee and says, 'I asked him the same and his answer was the same, too.'

Mr Min takes a cup of coffee in his hands and begins to sip on it. Yoongi follows Mr Min.

Mrs Min takes the cup of coffee in her hand and starts to sip on it as she stares at Yoongi.

Yoongi asks, 'What's with you both?'
Mrs Min answers, 'We see a change in you.'
Yoongi says, 'People change, Mum.'
Mrs Min says, 'You don't have to change right after you met Mr Park and his family.'
Yoongi says, 'It's not about them, Mum.'

Mr Min receives a call. He stands up with his phone and the cup of coffee in each hand. He walks off to a room.

Mrs Min asks, 'Or is it about Jimin?'
Yoongi answers, 'N-no...'
Mrs Min says, 'You're not supposed to hurt him in any way. Think before you speak. Yeah?'
Yoongi says, 'Yeah.'
Mrs Min says, 'He's such a sweet boy.'

Yoongi chuckles softly and says, 'Of course, he is.'

Mrs Min notices the shy yet bright smile on Yoongi's lips.

Mr Min walks into the living room and says, 'The meeting has been preponed. Let's go, Yoongi.'

Yoongi nods once and stands up. He keeps the empty coffee cup on the table and walks upstairs.
