(XIV) 'Looks don't matter, baby.'

Shortly, Yoongi is lying on the bed resting his head on Jimin's chest. Jimin is stroking Yoongi's hair—the blanket is covering their body until their chests.

Jimin says, 'You said that you wouldn't last long.'
Yoongi says, 'Well... I was tired but... I couldn't stop when I saw you like that.'
Jimin asks, 'Like what?'
Yoongi answers, 'You know...'
Jimin asks, 'Naked?'

Yoongi hums in response.

Jimin chuckles softly and says, 'You're such a lazy boy.'

Yoongi asks, 'Why do you say that?'
Jimin answers, 'You're too lazy to even flirt.'
Yoongi says, 'I kind of... You know...'
Jimin says, 'I know. You hesitate to flirt.'

Yoongi hums faintly in response.

Jimin continues, 'My shy husband.' and sniffs Yoongi's head.

Yoongi asks, 'Baby, do you want kids?'
Jimin answers, 'If I get my eyesight back... Yes.'
Yoongi says, 'We can raise a kid, either way, baby.'
Jimin says, 'My world is full of darkness, Yoongi. I already feel bad for bringing you into this darkness. I don't wanna ruin another life.'

Yoongi says, 'Don't say that, baby. I'm happy to be a part of your life.'
Jimin says, 'I wish I could see your face. You don't know how much it hurts when I realise that I don't know how my husband looks.'
Yoongi says, 'Looks don't matter, baby.'

Jimin smiles a little in response.

Yoongi strokes Jimin's lips with his fingertip and says, 'My cute baby and his smile.'

Jimin asks, 'What are you doing?'
Yoongi answers, 'Adoring my baby.'

Jimin yawns and says, 'I'm sleepy, Yoongi.'

Yoongi hums and says, 'Good night, baby.'

Jimin says, 'Good night.' and closes his eyes.

Yoongi rests his hand on Jimin's chest and plants a kiss on his cheek. He nuzzles up against Jimin's neck and dozes off.

The next day.

Yoongi makes Jimin sit at the dining table and helps Mrs Park serve breakfast. Mr Park is sitting opposite Jimin.

Quite soon, Yoongi and Mrs Park sit next to Jimin and Mr Park respectively. Yoongi explains to Jimin where everything has been kept.

Jimin hums and begins to have his food. Everybody else joins Jimin.

Mrs Park notices the hickey on Jimin's neck and smiles a little.

Yoongi says, 'Baby, let me spread the jam on the bread for you.'
Jimin says, 'I can do it, Yoongi.'
Yoongi says, 'I can help, baby.'

Jimin hums in response.

Yoongi spreads jam on a slice of bread and keeps it on Jimin's plate. He holds Jimin's hand and makes his touch the slice of bread as he says, 'There you go.'

Jimin says, 'Thank you...' and grabs the slice of bread. He begins to have it.

Mrs Park's lips gleam with a smile.

Mr Park asks, 'Have you decided on a place?'
Yoongi asks, 'What for, Dad?'
Mr Park answers, 'For your honeymoon.'
Yoongi says, 'Ah... Jimin doesn't wanna go anywhere...'
Mr Park asks, 'What? Why?'

Yoongi glances at Jimin.

Jimin swallows the food in his mouth and answers, 'I don't wanna go anywhere, Dad.'

Mr Park asks, 'Why?'
Jimin answers, 'No reason.'
Yoongi says, 'I talked to him... I'm sure that he wouldn't wanna be forced.'
Mr Park says, 'I understand but-'
Jimin says, 'Don't force me... Please.'
Mr Park says, 'All right.'

Jimin smiles a little and resumes having his food.

Yoongi flashes an assuring smile at Jimin's parents and resumes having his food.

Later at night, Yoongi and Jimin are in bed—the latter is resting his head on Yoongi's chest.

Yoongi says, 'Baby...'

Jimin hums in response.

Yoongi asks, 'Can I ask you something?'
Jimin answers, 'Sure, Yoongi. What is it?'

Yoongi thinks for a moment and says, 'Let's say you got the surgery done.'

Jimin hums faintly and strokes Yoongi's chest.

Yoongi asks, 'Would you not like me anymore because I don't look good or maybe because I don't look like your type?'

Jimin reaches for Yoongi's right cheek and gently strokes it as he answers, 'Nope. I know that you're my type because I was already so madly in love with you when I had my eyesight. I don't think I wouldn't like the way you look.'

Yoongi says, 'I'm scared that you might not like the way I look. You know... People's looks change over time.'
Jimin says, 'No matter what changes, my love for you will never change.'

Yoongi plants a kiss on Jimin's head.

Jimin sniffs Yoongi's cheek and says, 'I love you.'

Yoongi says, 'I love you, too, baby.' and strokes Jimin's waist.

Jimin nuzzles up against Yoongi's neck and dozes off.
