Chapter 10

3rd person POV:

It's been over a week since all that happened at Antonio's house. He's healed, and they've hung out as much as they could. Since the situation happened, Ty and her family hadn't had dinner with Antonio's family, and instead are waiting for the next party that's happening in 2 weeks.

Tyara was at her house, getting ready for school, when she realized she had bled through her pants. "Fuck!" She curses loudly. She grabs a pad and changes her pants.

She wears baggy sweatpants that are designed with rhinestones, and a long sleeve white shirt. She wears gray and white Jordans, and does her usual makeup routine. She leaves her hair out, but keeps a hair tie on her wrist.

She heads downstairs and gets some breakfast. Meanwhile, Antonio also gets ready for school. He wears gray sweatpants, a black t-shirt, his usual chain, and a pair of black Jordans. He goes downstairs, greets his family, then heads out to pick up Ty for school.

He pulls up outside her house and she hops in the car. She leans over and kisses him on the cheek. He takes a second to look at her, and notices how her arms are crossed, and so are her legs. She seems tense, but usually with him, she isn't.

"You okay, ma?" He says, and rubs her cheek. She nods, then looks out the window as they drive away. "Nah, you don't seem okay." He pushes.

"I'm fine, okay? Let's just go." She says. He obeys and drives to school. They get there, and he helps her hold her bag. They go to their group of friends and she talks to her friends as he talks to his.

"She seems upset, I don't know why though." He explains to Divine and Jay. Jay laughs lightly before responding.

"You get her pregnant or something?" Jay asks. He laughs and Antonio rolls his eyes.

"No way. We haven't-" He gets cut off by Ty coming over and grabbing her bag. She kisses him on the cheek before walking to class with her friends. Divine, Antonio, and Jay follow behind them.

"Wait, y'all haven't slept together?" Divine asks.

"Nah, so she can't be pregnant." Antonio responds. They continue walking and Antonio notices his friends have gone silent. He looks over and they have shocked faces. "What?" He asks, nonchalantly.

"It's been, like, two weeks. You always get it down the first night. Who are you and what have you done with Antonio?" Jay comments. Divine nods and Antonio laughs while rolling his eyes.

"Yeah, okay smartass. Look, with the other girls, it was nothing. With Ty, it's different. Plus, we haven't brought it up, so it doesn't matter if we do it either way." Antonio responds.

"Okay, there's something wrong with him." Divine says, and they all burst out laughing.

Ty sits down at a desk near her friends. Ameera sits at the desk next to hers, Serene in front of her, and Nyla next to Serene. "I'm actually in so much pain. It's always the first days that are the hardest." Ty says.

"Mhm, you got that right." Ameera says. They talk for a little longer before the boys walk in. Divine sits next to Serene, Jay sits on the side of Divine, and Antonio next to Ty.

Ty bounces her leg, her body shaking because of the pain of her cramps. Antonio reaches over and rubs her thigh slowly, trying to calm her. "Hey ma, what's going on?" He asks.

She holds her stomach tightly, before feeling her mouth water up. She puts her hand up to her mouth, stopping it from opening.

"Tyara, you good?" Antonio asks, worried. She gags, and runs out of the room, Ameera grabs her bag, following after Ty. Jay turns around to face Antonio.
