Putting her stethoscope around her neck,Abigail left the locker room. While walking to the pit,George bummed into her. "Sorry." Abigail said, looking up from her notepad.
"Sorry,uh,have you seen Izz– Dr. Stevens?" George asked. "No. Have you seen Dr. Yang?" Abigail asked. "No." George said. "She told me to meet her here in the pit,and she's not here. I don't want to give that woman any more reasons to hate me." Abigail said as George pulled his phone out.
"Good for you." George said. "I'm prepared. I'm gonna answer every question correctly. And I'm not gonna take any more of her crap." Abigail said as George walked away.
"Three! Incoming,let's move." Cristina said. Abigail followed Cristina into the trauma room. "He got hit during a scrimmage." The patient's dad said. "Are you the couch?" Derek asked.
"He's my dad." The patient,Adam Singer, said. "And his couch. He was charing the receiver after kickoff. He got blocked,had his head down, and couldn't see the other guy coming." His dad informed.
"I had my head down because the guy blocking me was holding it down." Adam said. "You could've gotten past that guy." Adam's dad told him.
"I need you to leave the room." Derek told Adam's dad. "Okay,let's cut him out of his equipment. Dr. Kepner,I need you to help me stabilize his neck and his head,please."
Abigail put on the clear glasses that everyone else put on. "It's very important, Adam,that you not move you head. I need you to keep perfectly still. Don't move,relax." Derek told Adam as Cristina took the saw to Adam's helmet.

Abigail stood in between Derek and Cristina as they waited for Adam's head C.T. "I can't believe that kid's dad. I mean,his son is paralyzed, and the guy's still riding him." Abigail rambled.
"Focus more of the medicine,three,and less on the tragedy." Cristina said. "Three? Is that a nickname?" Derek asked. "You could say that." Abigail said.
"So how would you proceed,Dr. Kepner?" Derek asked Abigail instead of asking Cristina. "Oh,um... you won't be able to operate unless you realign his spin,would you?" Abigail questioned. "Mm-hm. And how would you do that?" Derek asked.
"Teaction Halo?" Abigail asked. "Very impressive,Dr. Kepner. You're intern year's off to a good start." Derek said,making Abigail smile. "By chance,do you know how it's going with Lexie and Meredith?"
"By what lexie told me,it's weird. The family thing is weird. I grew up with four sisters,so..." Abigail said.
"Four sisters? I have four sisters." Derek said. "Really? Cool." Abigail nodded. "Also,um,Lexie thinks Meredith hates her." Abigail added.
