Abigail stood next to Lexie as she and the other interns flipped through documents and putting them into neat piles. "Every page goes in every set of documents. Miss one,you're on scut for a month. These are the most promising trial patients. And I don't want any mistakes." Meredith said as she walked around the interns.
"Hard-ass." Lexie whispered to Meredith. "Where were you last night?" Izzie asked as she and George walked up to Meredith.
George and Abigail exchanged glances and smiled at each other. "I had to stay with Cristina. She needed me." Meredith said. "Aw,that's so nice. But,Rebecca's at the house. I needed you." Izzie said.
"Apparently she's crazy." George added. "And,George,we've had this discussion and decided it's not appropriate to call Izzie crazy. She's spirited." Meredith said.
"Spirited." George said. Izzie chuckled sarcastically as she slightly pushed George. "Yeah. Not me! I'm not crazy. Rebecca's crazy. And-and Alex is pretending she's not. It's..." Izzie's words trailed off as Cristina walked over to the group.
"Hello." Cristina said,in a much better mood than yesterday. "I-we were just helping Meredith collate. We're on our way to check on your patients." Lexie said as Abigail nodded.
"That's fine. Take your time." Cristina said as Abigail and Lexie walked away quickly.

After looking and failing to find Cristina,Abigail and Lexie walked into the office that George was sitting in.
"Hey. Have you seen Cristina? Because we've done everything we're supposed to. But if she sees us doing something,we're not in the mood to get yelled at today." Lexie said.
"She's in with the cement boy." George said. "There's a cement boy?" The two girls said in unison. "Don't bother. They don't need interns. They don't want interns there. Interns are in the way! I'm not complaining." George said.
"Two minutes of complaining between us. No one has to know." Abigail offered as she and Lexie sat down.
"I have all this power! Supposedly." George said,standing up. "I supposedly am imbued with power of being the chief's intern. But there's a cement boy,and I'm stuck in here,running labs,researching effects of cement on the body in the vain of hopes somebody asks me a question." George ranted as he grabbed two red books.
"I'm not in with the cement boy because,even though I have all this power,I can't use it because it's not real power." George whispered. "It's fake power?" Lexie whispered back.
