Knock knock

Enid knocked on the door of the grimes house. It was Friday and everyone was meeting at Carl's house before they went clothes shopping.
"Hey." Rick opened the door, letting his son's friend in. "Hey. Oh, hey guys." She smiled and waved at Carl's 'uncles' who were there.
"Enid." Negan waved.

She was early to Carl's house, and that was for a reason. She had major concerns with Ron Anderson, and it was about time someone got a 'real adult' involved.

"You're the first here. I think Carl is still getting ready." Rick informed her.
"I figured. I actually wanted to talk to you about something. Alone." She told him, looking over at his friends. "Yeah ok." He stepped out on the porch with her.
"What's going on?" He asked her once they were outside.

"It's about Carl. He's not gonna tell you this himself because.. well I don't know. He doesn't like to talk about it I guess. But he can't handle this on his own." She started to explain.
"What is it?" He questioned her, seeing this was serious.

"He's being.. well I guess you could say he's being bullied. There's this guy at school and he's been focusing on Carl lately." She admitted, hoping this was the right decision.
"This boy.. what's he do? Does he have a name?" He asked another question.

"His name is Ron. Ron Anderson. He'll tell Carl that he looks bad and stuff. Sometimes he makes fun of him for being gay. Says he'll never get a boyfriend and stuff. But he's been acting weird lately. Like the other day he just said his name and walked away. I know that sounds stupid but you had to see it. He was like.. I don't know. Someone has to do something about him." She said, hoping for help.

Rick was at a loss for words. He knew there was something off with Carl's new boyfriend, but he didn't know it was such a public bullying situation. Either way, this boy was bad news.
"I see. I'll talk to Lori about all of it and we'll make a plan." He claimed, although he planned on talking to Carl as well.

"Ok. Yeah. I just can't stand to see him go through it anymore." She expressed her feelings.
"Thanks for telling me." He replied.

Carl looked through his clothes for something to wear. He was going out with his friends today to find something to wear to Mikey's party, which was soon. He was nervous for the party. Most people would be spending time with their boyfriends or girlfriends, but he would have to pretend that he wanted nothing to do with his boyfriend.

Even more bothersome than that to him was that he knew there would be lots of girls there. He didn't think Ron would cheat on him in any way, he more so just jealous and a bit angry that the girls wouldn't know that Ron was his. Unlike Ron, he wanted everyone to know about their relationship. He was going to be patient with him nonetheless. Telling Mikey was a big step in the right direction, and he was extremely proud of his boyfriend for that.
