The night dragged on. Stolen glances from Olivia was the only thing that made it bearable. Of course the rest of they boys were completely hammered and so was Arielle. Making it rather frustrating trying to uphold a conversation with any of  them. I suggested that maybe now was the time to call a night. After much grumbling and dagger looks  they staggered their way across the bar towards the exit.

"You're such a spoil sport" slurred Jamie when we reached the cab outside.

"Clearly, now come on let's get you all home." We all piled in the cab except for Olivia. "You coming?"

"My friend Cara is coming to pick me. She's on her way now."

"You sure. We can just drop you off at your hotel. It's no bother."

"I think you've got enough on your hands there. With all those drunken people. It'll be fine. She'll be here any minute."

"Okay. Well ermm just text me or something to let me know you got back safe. Yeah?"

"I will I promise . Don't worry about me.  Goodnight Alex." We held eye contact. Her eyes were saying a thousand things to me. I wanted to grab her waste, pulling her up against my own body and kiss those perfect plump lips of hers. The sound. The sound of Jamie snoring pulled me from my thoughts dragging me back to reality. But much to my pleasure Olivia was wearing the exact same expression as me. I got into the cab. My hand on the door handle. She took a step closer to the car.

"Goodnight Liv." She closed the car door and the taxi pulled off. Jamie and Nick were passed out. Matt was looking out the window. And Arielle tried to snuggle in next to me. Resting her head on my shoulder. Her eyes closed. I left her there but I couldn't stop thinking about Liv. I never stopped thinking about Liv.

I watched the cab drive away into the black abyss of the night sky. Only to be temporarily blinded by the bright headlights of Cara's car. I pile into the car and we speed off.

"Thanks for picking me up." We have been friends for years now. And she's helped me through so much. If it wasn't for her God knows where I'd be. Probably in a morgue or worse. I can't not explain how happy I was when she decided to come to England with me.

"It's fine. I was close by anyway." Cara unlike myself is the total image of cool. She's stunning, her long brown hair framing her face perfectly. Her gorgeous figure and her general perception of life. She outgoing and confident which helps her be particularly popular with the boys. If I wasn't her best friend I would definitely feel threatened by her.

"So what did you do tonight?" I asked her. I glanced over at her. Her eyes fixed on the road ahead of us.

"Nothing, although I did meet this guy. But enough about me! I wanna know about you! You've got that look."

"What look?" My voice high pitched almost defensive.

" you've got that look on your face. You've meet a guy. But something's not quit right about him. Something's holding you back? No something's holding home back?"

"What are you talking about?"

"Don't lie to my Olivia! I know you to well, so are you gonna tell me or am I going to have to force the information out of you?"  She jokingly smacked my arm. Letting her eyes flicker between me and the road. I scowled at her. But she's wasn't taking no for an answer.

"I dunno if I technically found a guy. It's more difficult than a typical situation. We can't exactly date, it's to difficult. He has his career to think about and my job is to maintain his career. But if I'm totally honest I've tried my best to shut it down. But it's harder than I expected. I really like him. But like I said it's difficult."  She simple hummed in response.
